Hey! Good for you! On a positive note about the farmers here...we have a new crop of young ones who have seen the light. Our two closest neighbors are strong conservatives, living within their means and working hard so as to not live on hand-outs. Alot of them got turned off by seeing their liberal elders getting government bail-outs....too many we know!. ...[text shortened]... have taught piano and organ for many, many years. I actually had my first student 57 years ago.
I'm glad to know that there are a few kids coming behind who have an independent mind. We have two kids. One a nurse and the other a chemist. I'm not sure what their politics are. They are young enough to think that caring and feeling good make the world a better place. I'm not sure they have figured out that is work that makes it better. So they are probably more liberal than I am. I don't really care. They are good people, and I love them no matter what.
They will grow up eventually if I have given them the freedom they need to fail then succeed on their own. Now THAT is real love.
After I failed to get into West Point, I started my own business as a contractor. Big shot know it all 21 year old kid. Can you say goodby and so long to fifty grand? But I went broke, learned from it, payed off the debt and then framed 2450 houses with a five man crew. Then installed 3000 entry ways on door remodeling contracts then started writing sales software for a living. Been doing that since 1996.
I'm about to start up a custom cabinetry business here in salt lake. I want to get back to doing "stuff" that can be seen every day when the sun goes down. I just spent ten thousand dollars on a years lease and all my equipment. But that was better than losing it in the stock market!

But he got tired of the union taking a cut and giving it to the liberal candidates, so he quit the union and struck out on his own. Never got rich but at least he was his own man. I noticed that two of our USA haters are women who live in other countries! Wonder how they would feel if we stared bashing their countries?

I call them all, male and female alike , euro-twits because one gets the true sense of how vacuous they are with their child-like desire for nothing but harmony and easy living.
You might notice that I am rather a hellion and a rabble rouser by nature.
