Here's a thread intentionally designed to make all you red-staters get all self-righteous and up in arms about us blue state heathens. And this isn't directed at every Republican, but you know if you fit this bill.
The Republican Party is calling itself the values party. Voters who say they voted for Bush are overwhelmingly calling themselves "v ...[text shortened]...
Oh, uh, by the way. Guess what? I'm a registered Republican, and I served in the military.

It is not true that the Republicans stand for values, but the Democrats have proven themselves inarticulate in this aspect of the propaganda war.
Oh yes, I vote in a state where we have never registered by party, but I was campaigning for Republican candidates before many of you were born. My childhood was spent on military bases, but I took my veteran father's advice, and did not join up. My brother ignored that advice, and serves honorably in Baghdad this very day.

I think both parties are full of crooks..they are all a bunch of self-serving butt-munchers who care only about securing their political future. That's why I didn't vote for either morally corrupt Party...but I did vote.....😕
OMG people, do we have to get into all this U.S. political crap again. People have different views on what's right and what is wrong. All of your stupid posts saying that the Republicans are wrong for believing this and the Democrats are wrong for believing that and Americans shouldn't be doing this are so pointless it is a waist of time typing it all out. No matter what you type you are not going to change what a person believes. I am a Republican, does that mean I don't know what is right. What is right? Is it what you believe? That's what is right to you. What I believe is right to me. None of us know what is truelly right, we can only believe what we think is right. So please people, quit making these posts about the Republicans are wrong for believing this and all of this worthless crap.
Peace, I'm out

What better way to compare views, and evaluate their relative merits, than in a debate?

stupid, yes; a waste of time, no. 😛
No matter what you type you are not going to change what a person believes.
Only those whose minds are shut tight are impervious to reason. It may be a waste of time to endlessly debate with them, but sometimes it is fun.

The Republicans are Right, many farly so. The Democrats, too, but less so. What's Left in the U.S. is almost non-existant.
Is it what you believe? That's what is right to you. What I believe is right to me. None of us know what is truelly right, we can only believe what we think is right.
But if we don't argue our beliefs, we don't trust the marketplace of ideas, and we likely disapprove of democracy.

I live, that they might have another chance to reconsider the errors of their thinking, or to point out the flaws in mine. Without change, we are dead.
Some posts are "worthless crap," but not all that call Republicans to account for the most significant change in U.S. foreign policy since 1941.
