Can anyone recommend a good, objective political biography with a broad focus on both his domestic and foreign policy, something maybe a little like Richard Reeves' narratives of the JFK and Nixon White House epochs? Amazon is totally polarized on the subject.

Try the books by Lou Cannon--they are better balanced than most.

There's only one polarized review of this on Amazon...I think every other biography I've looked at has had no fewer than a score of tendentious reviews...
