@wildgrass saidWikdgrass, you have 2 such radio hosts on your side,Tom Hartman and a guy named Michaelangelo, whose rhetoric gives me stomach pains. So, you have yours, who I quite disagree with as far as their social policies, they probably would say OK if you want to marry your Collie. And, we have Rush, who would not like marrying your dog. There is a difference, just like you and I are different.
My comment was not meant to be an indictment of Rush as an entertainer. He was what he was.
My comment was an indictment of those who took the divisive, hateful rhetoric that defined Rush the entertainer and turned it into a real world governing philosophy. Since Rush is so popular, why don't I just say whatever he's saying and then I'll be popular?
Actually,,I dont see what the fuss is all about. Hey, see how much coverage those 2 lightweight non-substance guys get when they die.
@AverageJoe1
Hey Joe, I'll marry your darn dog if there's a dowry involved. I'm thinking $$50 K and a supply of Milk Bones biscuits.
And she better like to hunt, that's all I can say đ đŗ đ
@averagejoe1 saidExcept the 50% who say nay are every bit as bad as him, so it’s not really evidence of him not being a nasty little đŠ it’s just that there are a lot of nasty little đŠs
Amen, we all agree. Life aint Perfect, and one cannot right now say whether Rush was good or bad 50% yea, 50% nay. Life. I should’ve done this or should’ve done that. Again, it was an entertainment show. He would say things like the girl that wanted us to pay for her birth control recreation, which gauled me. Others thought she was cool. If you are saying he should’ve ...[text shortened]... lse, that’s what makes the world go round. All fun bantering, I think he was truly fun and humorous.
Don’t worry though they’ll likely bring out a compilation of his worst bits to play your banjo along to.
@kevcvs57 saidSeriously, the liberal hosts have some odd points of view themselves. No sense re-hashing, but on a lib show they will be touting regulations, do this , don't do that, can't you read the signs!! (loved that song). But Rush, he would point out the problems with regulations. Obama loved to regulate, Trump erased regulations.

Again, I don't see what the fuss is about. Do y'all truly think we all should think alike? No exceptions? EG, an extreme position is today's news, let the people from S America into, and usurp the bounty of, our country? I'm not starting an immigration thread, I just think that there is not one ounce of 'give' when liberals see the conservative point of view. Do liberals not 'conserve' at all? Just Willy-go-nilly?
@wildgrass saidHe was an entertainer a very rude, insulting one, but what else you could pass him off as? Hell, he probably had as many fans as the President did!....Did you know they were good friends? You heard about the medal Trump gave him?

Yes, he sure did say hateful things to many people as I mentioned which got him noticed and lots of attention. He made money from what he did, and didn't care what anyone thought about him along the way. Call it what you will. At the end of the day he did it his way! You know like the song! đ

Is there some connection somewhere that you would like to share with the rest of us ?
Maybe Russ should set up a new forum category for you guys.
Or maybe better yet, you should take your narratives to a porn fetish site.
Or maybe just get some therapy.
@very-rusty saidBut you see, you are all upset emotionally, as a liberal would be, about hateful things being said. We conservatives are more upset about what liberal talk show hosts say regarding coveting and obtaining property of other people. They leave the house each day thinking about what they are going to get, not what they are going to earn. So that concerns me more than someone saying something offeennnnnsive.

@lemondrop saidDefine greedy. If I make $1000 , And drink a toast to my success,, does that make me greedy
he was a greedy bastard
@mghrn55 saidOh, like Handy Andy, you feign not getting the analogy, the sarcasm. I did not mean actually marrying a dog. That would be quite silly . it is the concept of everything being wide open. No private property ownership, no private clubs (horrors), Im surprised you didnt get that. Surely you did.

Handy always had a problem. I’d say ‘Say I have an employee on a yacht’. Handy would say ‘You dont have a yacht’. Dont be like Handy đ
@averagejoe1 saidNothing personal......but you are an ideological simpleton.

I'd just like for you to come right out and state the obvious.
You know, for our benefit.

@mghrn55 saidThankyou, at least I have you thinking. Hey, did you know that Rush did his best to keep you from having to pay for Ms Flake’s contraceptive devices so that she could have recreational sex? Did you know about that. Did you just smile and say man that’s cool? I smiled when he won that argument. But a lot of liberals disagreed with Rush .Can you imagine that. Because, they are used to getting stuff from conservatives to pay for their stuff.
You forgot to mention no regulations.
You fellas make my fingers tired, inasmuch as I say nothing but common sense and logic
