I’m not entirely sure that an army is bogged down six days into an invasion of a massive country.

What’s far more interesting is the report of this 60km long convoy 20-odd km’s from Kiev (Kyev).

A 60km long convoy, on back roads, in the middle of a war zone?
What sort of madness is that?

I ain’t no soldier (I can’t handle orders), but surely that’s a nice, fat (well, long) juicy target if ever there was one.

Drones, low flying aircraft, blowing up bridges, partisan tactics, ambushes, etc.

It would seem to me that there is either no 60km long convoy or, if there is, Ukraine’s military are absolutely no threat at all, or Russian generals have completely lost the plot.

Ukraine has the second largest army in Europe, after Russia.
Roughly 250.000 troops.
The Russian invasion forces number less.
Strategically the defenders are at an advantage.

Why on Earth is that convoy not being targetted?

I have no clue. But therein lies something very strange.
The whole picture, I’m afraid, is not being shown.

That convoy is a deflection in the short term most of the action is in the south and south east of Ukraine as Russia tries to create a land bridge between Russia and Crimea, the port of Odessa will also be a target.
One reason for not attacking that sitting duck in the north is that it would give the Kremlin a really good justification to use indiscriminate long range weapons in response to an attack on non active units. Also Ukraine will want to use any air power they have to defend its cities.
If you think these tanks are vulnerable now just wait until they are crawling around tight city streets with a highly mobile anti tank unit on every corner. Putin would be very stupid to send these tanks in until they have cleared out or disabled / disarmed Ukraines infantry.

What games exactly do you think are being played I’d be very impressed if you’ve even got close to figuring this one out.

Well, maybe what is bogging down the convoy is that it *is* being targeted.
did you (all) see what the Uk's claim to have destroyed...?
.
Ukraine Military Claims 3,500 Russian Soldiers Killed, 102 Tanks And 14 Planes Destroyed
The Ukrainian military made heavy claims that it destroyed 14 Russian planes, 8 helicopters, 102 tanks, 536 armoured vehicles and 15 artillery systems.

If Russia clears out all the Uk's in a given region, why bring in the tanks?

Works the other way around.
Armor goes in FIRST with infantry support/

I’d take that with a pinch of salt, or weigh it up against Ukrainian losses over the same period (of which there are no figures).

If Russia had lost that many tanks and the Ukrainians next to nothing, you’d see a dramatic escalation in night bombing and that sort of thing.

And I totally disagree that you wouldn’t target a 60km long sittting duck of easy pickings.
Because that would be the main force heading for your capital.

Perhaps it's all the American liquor stores pouring Russian vodka down the drain that has paralyzed the Russian bear. Truly a surgical strike at the very heart of the Russian war machine -- that, and uncounted "likes" for Ukraine on Facebook. That will turn the tide for sure!

If they’re throwing the vodka away, I suggest they throw it away in my bloody direction.

I will suitably dispose of it for them.

Drink it with freedom fries and victory cabbage, for a balanced diet.
