I think he should be held in a prison for the rest of his life. A daily routine should be put in place for him to meet all the people he had tourtured, beaten, etc, along with relatives of peole he killed or had killed.

Life in prison would be an appropiate punishment. I am against the death penalty.

The Iraqi court however will give him the death penalty, together with his cousin Chemical Ali and a few other executioners of his criminal orders.

I say keep him locked down for the rest of his life. Have him share a cell with five or six burly men who wish to have their way with him. He'll have his own private hell

First, even Saddam is innocent until proven guilty.

Iraq now has to demonstrate it has moved beyond tyrany. A fair, open and transparent trial would be a good start. I think it can only be done by an elected government not one appointed by foreigners. Let him wait for a while.

And yes, Saddam would never have done it for his opponents.

Life imprisonment, but 8 hours a day he should be placed his head in a garrot, while passers by slap him, especially SKIMPILY dressed WOMEN.
