@averagejoe1 saidYes I'd hope so. The celebrities who made all those dumb ads too. There was one ad in which Larry David called it a fraud at the end.
Let's stir it up a bit, let Sonhouse monitor Jan 6, and let us segue to the money stolen from over 1M people.
No question its source is nefarious city.
Should all of it be given back?
I actually think the investors should not be returned the money.
@mott-the-hoople saidIt’s really funny that the usual right wing twots who hate any restrictions on the free market are wondering what libs are going to do about it.
they dont want to touch this one do they?
The idiots have lost their stake and the guy that ran the con is hopefully going to jail.
Lesson learned so dry your tears and move on.
If they can recoup any funds then it should be distributed amongst the creditors in the usual way but you cannot recoup monies that the thief has already spent.
@kevcvs57 saidHold on, there is no question that the 'investors' have no right to go and ask for some retribution or return of money by some 'safety net'. There are posters here, and you know who you are, that think the govt should save people who make bad investments, which of course could be extrapolated to losing money at the race track.

The investors are S out of luck as far as I am concerned. That is a no-brainer, but the bigger issue,....This Fried con-artist is second only to George Soros in Democratic donations. Is the money stolen, is it ill-gotten, why should it be given back by the Dems? Was it not the result of bad business decisions and poor management of money, from legal investors?
If the law makes Dems give it back, will there be watchdogs at every turn in the future to 'follow the money'?
@kevcvs57 said"Right wing twots" are for a free market economy. as you said.

They are not for Ponzi Schemes or other hocus-pocus shell games.

schemes that democrats and a few rinos are in on...hence the doj running cover by arresting him so republican members of congress cant question him
@averagejoe1 saidSure it should, but they don't have to so they wont. That is why the DOJ had to shut him up instead of letting him incriminate himself like they normally would. They want it to be about him and nobody else. Democracy in the USA is a farce and this scandal proves it. The corporate news media wants this to go away as soon as possible. Now that he is in jail they can sweep it under the rug.

@jj-adams saidYou just described the stock market it’s one big Ponzi scheme and crashes when people twig that it’s a bubble based on illusory value.

Any one stupid enough to invest in non existent coins shouldn’t be sent to market to sell a cow let alone be given access to actual money, you just know they are coming home with a fistful of magic beans
