No; not arrested. He's close to the line, but not over it. What he said was still protected by the First Amendment.
He is an evil person, though, IMO, and is representing his movement in a way that should turn off most people.
How is telling folks to kill someone protected speech?
how is it “close to the line”?
@Mott-The-Hoople saidEven if he did "tell folks to kill" (which is unclear), he did so in a way that was theoretical and abstract. There was no imminency to the threat. That's the main reason it's protected under Brandenburg.

Let's say I'm protesting covid vaccine mandates in 2021. Imagine I got up at a rally and say "let's see how Fauci likes it when we bust into his house and inject him with foreign substances"
Is that protected under the First Amendment? It is. Because there's nothing imminent and the threat was abstract and uncertain.
"See the guy in the red shirt? He's a Nazi. Get him!"
Now THAT's incitement.
This? No, doesn't go far enough.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidOo, community events to talk about what you need.
so you dont consider killing someone because the killed one of you is not a threat or a suggestion to kill?
Did he mean to protest peacefully? Well if you had included ALL he said you would have the answer…no.
What hawk newsome said in its entirety..,
“
“Like everybody else has vigilantes, we need some black vigilantes,” Newsome said. “People want to jump up ...[text shortened]... ople hold community events and talk about what you need.”[/b]
what do you think he meant by that?
Can"t let black folks "threaten" racists like yourself by doing that.
@Mott-The-Hoople said"IF you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore" at the "Stop the Steal" rally followed within minutes by thousands of those who heard those words attacking police to break into the Capitol and disrupt the EC count may very well breach the Brandenburg standard while Newsome's remarks clearly don't.
quote Trump on inciting violence…I await your response.
@no1marauder saidwhy are you leaving out where Trump said “peacefully”?

@Mott-The-Hoople saidI gave a direct quote. He said many things just like that in the speech, then threw in one off hand comment about "peacefully".
why are you leaving out where Trump said “peacefully”?
Tell me, how was that crowd going to "stop the steal" by "fighting like hell" on January 6, 2021 without violence?

what is "eminent" about that statement?
@Mott-The-Hoople saidImminent means soon - close in time
""See the guy in the red shirt? He's a Nazi. Get him!""
what is "eminent" about that statement?
@no1marauder said"Peacefully" was just a CYA moment.

@Mott-The-Hoople said"Eminent" means first, or most important.
""See the guy in the red shirt? He's a Nazi. Get him!""
what is "eminent" about that statement?
"Imminent" means happening soon. Like right away.
@no1marauder saidbut not all of it...called cherry picking
