I was corrected with a rather salient example.
As can be demonstrated, I meant "compared to Americans".
Among other things, most of the extremist and insane ideologies of the 19th-20th centuries originated from Europe. Two world wars originated in Europe.
However, it seems that Americans are currently much less educated than Europeans.
There is one nuance, however.
The highest representative of the European Union's foreign policy - Kaja Kallas - is known as the person who is absolutely immune not to idiocy, but to any facts and rational argumentation.
If you understand what nonsense that person is regularly talking, you start to evaluate such persons like Trump and Putin, who are saying something reasonable at least sometimes...
Note also that Europe is not a single unit, neither politically nor ideologically, etc.
For example, the continental philosophy and the Anglo-American philosophy are very different.
In continental Europe, those who lived under the Soviet system are still quite different from those in the West. And they are not always more stupid.
One could even say that many of those who survived the Soviet system are much more resistant to insane propaganda and ideologies than the Western people.
Some crazy things that currently happen in the US - the Europeans are unable to understand what is going on. A complete mystery.
