Sidney Powell is pleading guilty to six misdemeanor charges, according to the agreement read in court. She will get 12 months of probation for each count, as well as a $6,000 fine. The plea comes a day before she was scheduled to go on trial along with co-defendant Kenneth Chesebro. Powell, a former Trump campaign attorney, is accused of helping tamper with voting machines in Coffee County.
As part of the plea agreement, Powell must "testify truthfully about any codefendants" involved in the matter and "provide all documents to the district attorney's office" relevant to their case against the other codefendants, according to Judge Scott McAfee.
She is the second defendant in the case to strike a plea agreement after Scott Hall took a plea deal in which he pleaded guilty to tampering with voting machine equipment.
As Donald Trump accused the Democrats stealing the 2020 election, it was his own people doing the stealing.
So we will see how the 17 defendants who wait their trials wil fare...I read (https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4261390-georgia-judge-chesebro-powell-charges-days-before-trial/) that the first trial, which is starting tomorrow is scheduled to take five month, the other trial is more complex....
@mchill saidTrump’s former lawyer Cohen took a bullet for him and went to jail. That sent a clear message that the DoJ means business. The defendants can’t bluff their way out of this. I can hardly wait until the adults who were actually in the room start to sing and The Big Enchilda is finally brought to heel.

@mchill saidThis will be a useful deterrent for future politicians who try to directly meddle in their own elections by targeting the government officials in charge of counting votes.

The misinformation campaign? We will see. How shocking that millions of people still think the election was rigged, stolen, fraudulent based on the tweets of the one person who already knew he had lost.
@wildgrass saidYou're Mr misinformation. Millions of people had millions of reasons for suspecting the election was rigged, there is always election fraud the question is: To what extent? It was not based on a few tweets.

It was not based on a few tweets.
Yes it was. Check your source.
@wildgrass saidNope that's not the way it works, you made the claim so tell us how you read the minds of millions of people and how they revealed their motivation to you.It was not based on a few tweets.

This is going to be fun. The floor is yours.
haha, no need, we know you're full of shyte.
There were dozens of news orgs and bloggers and vloggers and personalities expressing doubt about all kinds of inconsistencies with the count. Trump questioned the result as is his right and given the circumstances perfectly legitimate, to claim he drove the whole thing from a few tweets is...
you can fill in the blanks, I'm too busy larfing.
@wajoma saidAll of the questions, all of the reports, all of the digging and counting recounting and forensics and hacking, "inconsistencies" all of it traces back to the tweets. He was claiming it a year BEFORE the election even happened . Planting seeds of doubt.

When asked about why they were still looking for evidence after years of digging, finding nothing, the election officials kept saying "well, people believe the election was stolen so we need to look into that."
Every single rumor, innuendo, did-you-hear, came from seeds in the trump campaign and tweeted by the captain. Several trump campaign-led investigations, all came up with zip. All rumor proven false. Trump campaign kept going to court about it, and they never provided any evidence. It was just for show.
I don't know what else you want from me. Read the reports I guess. It was all fabricated.
Did trump ever release that report proving fraud? Maybe we start there? Oh wait, he never did.
@wildgrass saidSo we're back to the mind reading, you can read the minds of millions of people and determine their motivations.

Seeds of doubt are legitimate. Election fraud occurs every election no matter who wins, for your dream feelings to be true election fraud, those that recognise that fact could not have existed before Trump and twitter.
Do you ever take a metaphorical step back to look at what you're saying. It's incredible how you try cling to it.
@wajoma saidErr, you're not refuting anything I wrote. There was no rigged election. Trump made it up and tweeted it when he saw that his poll numbers couldn't win. Many people on his staff have said that they knew the info being tweeted was false. For some odd reason (I obviously can't read minds), people accept that there is no evidence and STILL think it was rigged. That can only be delusion.
So we're back to the mind reading, you can read the minds of millions of people and determine their motivations.

@Wajoma
The actual fraud was almost ALL from republicans, but the number was something like 5 or 6, so get off your frigging high horse, the head snake Trump is the one who started all this BS. He claimed there was massive mail in fraud but mail ins have been used for over 100 years with near zero fraud, if there was 10 or 20, whoppie doo,
All you have is Trumpite inuendo with nothing else.

"How shocking that millions of people still think the election was rigged, stolen, fraudulent based on the tweets of the one person who already knew he had lost."
Millions of people are not relying on a few tweets to form an opinion on this, many might not even be Trump supporters to have doubts about the results. For wildgrass to make such a statement she must possess some kind of mind reading abilities capable of assessing why millions of disparate people do the things they do, perhaps you see yourself as a mind reader, a superior being, it is a trait many state worshippers share. Although your obsession with Trump indicates you're more of an everyday lunatic, of the type that can be seen wandering the streets jibbering to themselves.

@wajoma saidMillions of people suspecting fraud is the fraud Trump himself created in the minds of the gullible. Numerous recounts and audits detected no fraud on a scale which would have tipped the election in as much as a single district anywhere in the nation. 60 court cases were thrown out, not because the fraud level was insignificant, but because the lawyers bringing suit presented zero evidence. Not even a little. Zilch. Nada. Nix. All they presented were unsupported allegations. There was no fraud on a scale which tipped the election; get over it.
