Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, GDP per capita is roughly half of that.
The key is that these folks are BECOMING wealthy in the blue states, then moving to red states just because they have different tax structures that allow them to avoid paying taxes. But the money produces less in red states. The people produce less.
