Here is how it goes down. The world is full of people on the fringe of society. These fringe people's lives are damaged and full of problems, which they have not been able to solve .. like, broken homes, failed relationships, lack of employable skills, health issues etc. These people are walking timebombs. Often they take unfortunate people down with them. Good and Pretti are two current examples and more will emerge and do foolish things, and they will die.
