Why do we need "dominion"? Why can't we treat ecological cycles and chains (of which we are just a small part) with more respect? I would say that a good reason to value humans is a good reason to value the natural cycles that sustain humans.

What I find appalling and disgusting and outrageous is the kind of food, medical treatment and care that pets in rich developed countries are able to get while thousands of humans die every day from a lack of it.
I say if thats the entertainment the Thai's want. .... go for it!
