Student Loan Forgiveness

At the same time Biden is asking for this, he is telling every college in America to raise tuition by $10,000. Jesus. How could this possibly be logical. Some just paid off their huge student loans, let's say this week. Mine was a 10-yr loan. Some of us do not go to college. Rather, we watch biz graduates and law graduates walk away with money-making degrees, but not having to use their newly-earned salaries and fees to pay off their loans. They invest such money instead, in their lives, their everything. They will hire the less-educated to paint their house while they go to Europe.
Please absorb this, and with a fresh slant on govt-paid tuition, how about some cogent thoughts on the unfair imbalance. Some among us are REAL big into things being fair and equal, equality, such as that.

There is no debt release, no debt forgiveness, now taxpayers foot the bills not those who took out the loans. It’s a debt transfer to those who had nothing to do with the debt.

Please tell us how? The greedy loan servers get $10,000 less of the interest that they have charged poorer students. No one is footing any bill. And, the loan servers are still making billions every year. My heart is bleeding for them; not.

The loan doesn’t go away. The government cannot step in and simply tell somebody who loaned money by contract that they can alter the agreement both sides agreed to and change it to the advantage of one over another. The debt is there still but now people who paid theirs off in good faith are burdened with more. Others have paid off their debts, some even had their debt paid as the government’s took payment out of their paychecks.
