I hear that Bush & Company got away with still another assault on justice. The testicularly-challenged Supreme Court bent over, liberally applied the vaseline to their nether regions, and accepted the "national security" laugher and refused to hear the case of that poor German citizen who wanted to sue Dubya. You remember, Mr Al-Masri? His assertion is that he was detained, hauled off to Afghanistan and tortured by U.S. operatives. Our super-secret government did not address the little issue of whether or not we committed this heinous act of barbarism; their whole argument was that it would endanger national security to even have the trial. And those nine ultra-conservative weenies bought it.
