The Lib Dems favour reform of drug laws, although clearly nothing of the sort will be achieved together with the Tories.
The tories have bigger fish to fry - but the liberals were elected to sort this mess out - its the only reason i voted for them. I think thats partly why UKIP are soaring - people think the liberals are not pulling there weight.

The Lib Dems should have never accepted the AV referendum compromise; they should have demanded an outright change to implement AV. I guess they underestimated the stupidity of the British populace, since changing to AV is such a no-brainer.

BUMP
I have still not seen anything from the can't spell liberal , liberal democrats on this. Boris Johnson admits to smoking it, do you still want laws to lock up the Mayor of London?
The liberals got my vote last time, purely to take on cannabis legalisation. If they don't I'm changing to UKIP, and will campaign for them (if I can do so constructively) I want the liberals out if they can't take this on.

Originally posted by KazetNagorraWrong, they are pro smokers, they are Liberal Conservatives, there is such a thing. They promise to revoke the smoking ban. Its UKIP for me if the liberals don't get to work.

The UKIP is too busy beating up foreigners or crying about the EU.
We are not part of the Euro, we wish it well, but the UK is not joining, He is our relationship. UKIP is the only party opposed to the smoking ban - look it up. ie it is the only party that gives a damn about civil liberties.
Remember a lot of this PRISM / GCHQ business was conceived in Tony Blairs time. Labour for some stupid reason want a really big cannabis black market. Whilst the Tories admit / deny smoking it and pretend they have more important things. David Cameron does. Nick Cleggs certainly does not, this is £xbillion on a plate. I hope even Theresa May could look on it sympathetically, (or arrest Boris! 🙂 ) see you can't have this hypocrisy they must make it legal. I think it would be shrewd to shift the issue to someone like Boris Johnson and have a few London Boroughs Legalise it as a test.
