At least Muslims do not deny Christ. Jews are Jesus denying weirdos to Christians and Muslims. Or doesn't Jesus matter to Christians anymore?

Try telling a group of Christians Jesus was a fraud who was not the son of god. See how well it goes over. That is what the Jews believe. Right?
How about you just shut up about stuff you have no clue about?

We should be so lucky.

@kevcvs57 said
Then why do you care about all this internal theistic jibberish
Muslims also deny that Jesus was the son of god so how are they different to the Jews from a Christian perspective?
We have more in common with the Jews and the Muslims on that point and I’m an agnostic
"Muslims also deny that Jesus was the son of god"

You are a liar.

Most adherents of Judaism believe that Jesus of Nazareth was not the Messiah nor "the Son of God". In the Jewish perspective, most will argue that the way Christians see Jesus goes against monotheism, a belief in the absolute unity and singularity of God, which is central to Judaism;[1] the worship of a person is seen by them as a form of idolatry.[2] Therefore, considering Jesus a deity is forbidden according to Judaism.

Muslims don’t believe Jesus was the son of God, but they do revere him as a holy prophet.

Muslims consider Jesus to be a messiah, but not the son of god. Judaism rejects both. Islam is like the halfway point between Judaism and Islam, but Islam has more in common with Christianity.

Mary (Maryam in Arabic) is the only woman mentioned in the Quran by name. Not only that, but she is the only woman who has an entire chapter named after her. Her story is mentioned throughout the Quran, but chapter 19 highlights her giving birth miraculously to Jesus, peace be upon him. The Quran refers to Jesus as the son of Mary as a way of honoring her.

Jews reject Jesus completely as a fraud.

Okay, I've seen enough. MB is a bot. There's almost no other explanation.

Actually, Jews look at Jesus as generally a good guy but who was a bit too arrogant in thinking he was capable and justified in taking down the whole societal heirarchy himself.

It's what his (Jewish) followers made up about him and his claims after his death that was the problem.

WOW!
You are more paranoid than you thought I was.

When did you become a raving lunatic?

Why don't you tell Christians that?

I think you are upset that I am pointing out how different Jews religious beliefs are from Christians. Is that why you falsely accused me of being a bot like a paranoid lunatic?

Suggestion to the MB programmers:

Put in a note that when someone personally insults the bot, "What is your source of information?" is not the appropriate response.

There are hundreds of thousands of MAGA themed QAnon Doomsday Preppers who would totally disagree with you.

Good idea.

For the Christians reading this:

Jesus was a prodigious Talmud scholar. Everyone agrees to that. (The Talmud wasn't formally codified for a few hundred more years, but this is the era during which the doctrines were developed and debated.)

In those days, there were two main religious viewpoints. The צדוקים (Saduccees) insistent that Judaism adherently were bound only to the letter of Biblical law. Any common law introduced by the rabbis (which is 90% of Jewish law) was nonbinding and they were free to ignore it.

The other side of the coin פירושׁים (In Hebrew "Pirushim" which is Anglicized to "Pharisees" which, in Hebrew (roughly), means abstainers, were so named because they believed the restrictions of the common law were binding and accepted them.

As a Talmud student and scholar, Jesus was certainly a Pharisee himself. So, it's a bit of a misnomer to paint the Pharisees as his bête noires. However, he believed that the governing structure was corrupt and hypocritical (possibly with some truth). The New Testament uses the Pharisees as a stand-in term for the governing structure.

In contemporary Orthodox Jewish dogma, it's settled that the Pharisees were correct and the Saduccees incorrect. The Saduccees are gone and so can't really defend themselves. Their successors (the Reform and similar movements) are really just coming from an faux-Atheistic point of view and so are not really interested in textual Biblical debates.

So, the only real Judaism viewpoint left today is the Pharisee religious viewpoint. As such, Jesus, as the anti-Pharisee, evokes a knee-jerk antipathy.

In fact, Jesus was mostly against hypocrisy and especially hypocritic materialism. This is essentially as Pharisee viewpoint (the Saducees didn't care about materialism as long as you weren't violating the letter of Biblical law). Jewish tradition doesn't really go into the story, but it seems likely that some members of the ruling structure denounced him to the Romans, who had him executed as a rebel. It was only after his death that his followers called him the son of God. As far as I can tell, he made no such claims during his lifetime. those claims didn't seem to appear until the Gospel of John, which was written about 65 years after Jesus's death.

Long story short, the worst scholarly Jews think about Jesus is that he was a bit too arrogant. Aside from that, he was a well-meaning Pharisee scholar.

Do you think I am a Russian too? That is another paranoid delusion some people on here have. I am surprised at you sh. I have been on here for years. You were one of the first people I debated when I was green to this. Think back man.

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them a bot or Russian.
Grow up. The empire uses Jews to do their dirty work in the middle east. That way the Jews suffer most of the backlash instead of the puppet masters. That is a tried and true method since the Roman empire you fool. European imperialists used that same method in their African colonies. You use a minority in a nation to rule as a puppet government so that minority suffers the backlash instead of the imperialist power. Remember the Rwanda genocide? Guess why the minority was despised by the majority. They were used to do the imperialist's bidding and all of the backlash was placed on the puppet faction.

The imperialists are laughing at how the Jews are despised for being puppets of the western empire and taking the brunt of the backlash. The British Empire used the Jews to take over the parts of the middle east they lost control of after the fall of the Ottoman empire.

Your people are dying because they are being used. Propaganda prevents them from realizing that. The western empire controls the news media in Israel. It makes sense too. What better people to use in a genocidal agenda than the victims of another genocide? Now if I compare the Zionists to the Nazis it turns your stomach and you cannot accept that is true.........but it is. Even your mind thinks that, but your emotions resist. Admit it. It is the last thing you want to admit right now emotionally, but your logical mind keeps nagging at you to accept the truth.
