Does anyone EVER look at that side of things? 100 million 'Arabs' vowing the destruction of Israel. Do you think the Gaza people would just go about business as usual, just building infrastructure, schools, hospitals and so forth with that constitution?
Why can't you see what is staring you in the face? Israel is facing over 100 million enemy. Exactly why should Israel allow weapons into Gaza? International waters or no? Are you so naive as to think those 'aid' ships would not be full of thousands of more rockets, grenades, mines and so forth the instant Israel let free passage of ships into Gaza?
Believe me, I am not an automatic Israeli lover, I lived there for 4 years working at Intel in Jerusalem and got to see all the sides of the issue, having friends on both sides. I freely admit the Israeli's are shooting themselves in the foot a lot of the time, with among other things, taking all the fresh water for themselves and giving the Palestinians the leftover dregs of poison that can't even grow plants. In response to that, an American effort built a $50,000,000 water plant which was in discussion when I was there with my family.
There clearly is bad blood on both sides but why can't you recognize the danger Israelis face every day? In your mind, it seems it doesn't matter that within 24 hours of their existence, they were attacked unprovoked. Why does none of that stuff count? Can't you see they face un-remitted enemies?
Do you think, for instance, that Iran is really just pursuing atomic energy just for peaceful purposes? Do you think they don't have Tel Aviv right in their bulls eye for their first A bomb?
Do you think the Arab nations are just joking when they avow the destruction of Israel? Do you think they are all acting on their own? Why don't you wake up and smell the coffee, or do you think it's right and proper the 'Arab' nations will do everything in their power to erase Israel?
