I don't know what you mean by our treating them like human beings when they are in our face. So, a tran person says I know I am a man, but I want to swim against your daughter. Suzianne, tell me that this is not in my face. THEN, tell me that I have some duty to 'treat' these people in some way. If I see one of these creatures begging on the street, do you fault me f ...[text shortened]... 'treatment' is the rule of society, the rule of the day. A duty is owed from one person to another?
Of course it is. Yes, we ARE our brother's keeper!

You've at least heard of Jesus, yeah?

Y'all confuse the phrase brother's keeper in the same way you do that word in the Consitution.......Welfare!!!

I have a suggestion: Why don't you just try to be a human being?

Why all the hatred? I know that Trump talks about it because it fires up his base, but that only means more lies about it. And more hate. You disgusting people just love to hate.

You don't want people to get along, do you?
I can't resist. Sue, I often say that people should leave other people the hell alone. Right? (you like to say 'Right?"😉

So, how could it possibly be that I would want people to NOT get along? To say people should leave others alone only assures that some should not bother others.....thus, they DO get along.

And you just said an hour ago that I have no logic? Ohhhhh sue

Let me emphasize that my quote is worded differently because it was from the KJV.
I thought your 'quote' 'King James version' was worded much the same. "for the love of money is etc..." 🙂 I just wanted to add further to the context of the scripture you shared.

And it is not money that is the root of all evil, but the LOVE of money. This guides people straight to the grave. It causes people to hate others. It causes people to kill each other. It IS the root of all evil.
Hey. All due respects, this is not church. And the guy that wrote that might modify it just a touch, here 2000 years later. You needed money to buy your keyboard. I mean, you needed THAT money but not other money???? Pick it up, sue, just trying to be helpful.
Each time i see such posts, I think what is that person driving at. Could you humor us and apply it to 2025?

It does apply to today 2025; every word. 🙂

Your best post ever. It does apply indeed, but practically speaking would we have seen the improvements over 2000 years that we have enjoyed? Wireless? Are you quoting scripture which says food and clothing is enough? anything beyond that is temptation and a trap? That, if we have internet and cars, we will have ruin and destruction.?
But, it abruptly then says to be what we all have remained...., righteous, godly, faith, love, gentleness and perseverance. Believers, as we are all those things, Faithful In All Things, I like to say. Our lives are only better with God's blessings. So, I feel these comments are acceptable in God's eyes, and do not fly in the face of Timothy.
Not to get into a discussion, but I thought I should write a logical response. The concept of money has certainly taken on huge ramifications, but there can be no commerce between 8 billion people without money .
So who do you think will win March Madness this year? I'm putting MONEY on Auburn. How else could we bet!!!
A good post, King. I put you a thumbs up. Do people look at those?

So JESUS to you is welfare. Got it. Don't get me wrong, I am not religious but a lot of people are and literally BILLIONS follow his teachings so you just pissed of a LOT of people saying that.
You don't want ANYONE to help ANYBODY, you want every fuuking human on Earth to be totally independent, grow or kill their own food, FUUK doctors, live in the wild. You perverse dream.

That's food, clothing and shelter. We should be content if we have that. If one has more, all blessings to them.
There's nothing wrong with being wealthy. It's what you do with it that counts. There's some responsibility with being wealthy; there's also many temptations and pit-falls to being wealthy also. It does not say that all wealthy will come to destruction; but that many will. If one is pursuing righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, [and] gentleness; and they are wealthy; they are blessed.

[Matthew 19:24 NKJV] 24 "And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
[Mark 10:25 NKJV] 25 "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
[Luke 18:25 NKJV] 25 "For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Jesus said.

All the Patriarchs in the Bible were wealthy; etc etc.

Whatever this has been the past few weeks (in the USA) has not been government or governance or anything in that area.

I hope Macron offered some bon mots of reason that co-President Chump could understand (not that he ever listens to anyone) after the Orange Chimp tried to pull his arm off.

There was some Republican Congressman who said this was a "necessary test" of the Constitution. OK, sure, but Congress has been failing that test.

But if he meant it was something like a "shakedown cruise", I'd counter that it seems like just a shakedown, on a grand scale.

Maybe things have come full circle and, similar to George III (purportedly), King Trump also has syphilis on the brain?

Why, you misquote me, little feller. I said that the word Welfare as mentioned in the constitution does not mean welfare as does our government in doling out benefits to the disadvantaged. I just hate it, Sonhouse,, but that is not what it means. The most liberal among us think it means that.
You lost me at grow your own food. Geez. Get a frisbee.

PS: This is what I wrote a few clicks up, that Shouse refers to. Actually, I don't know what he meant. I didn't mention Jesus.

Sorry, I must be so confusing. This is what I wrote…
Y'all confuse the phrase brother's keeper in the same way you do that word in the Consitution.......Welfare!!!

Golly it certainly does explain itself, does it not? There is a phrase, brother’s keeper. There is also a word, welfare, which appears in the constitution.
The first phrase, Brother’s Keeper, is interpreted by people like Suzanne that we literally have to care for every one we come in contact with. I think that’s what she means, maybe she can correct me. That is a tough one to follow from Suzanne Anne, since someone like Shav says he will only work for 20 hours a week, but Suzanne Anne wants me to take care of him. So I just do not follow her logic. It would follow that we take care of college graduates by paying off their loans. I hope you follow. So I am not my brother‘s keeper. Y’all go for it.😆😆😆
Next, many times over the years, you folks have quoted the constitution, as providing that everyone be covered in someway or another, applying the word welfare to their logic. I am simply saying that you are wrong, because you liberals think of welfare as free stuff. That is not what the constitution meant. . I hope that this has been a good explanation.
Sorry, there is no emoji for free stuff to highlight my comments.🙃

Suzanne is correct. If we see someone in need of anything we are to help if possible.
since someone like Shav says he will only work for 20 hours a week,
You know nothing of Shav, or his life outside of RHP. Please don't pretend that you do. It's none of your damn business either way.
Next, many times over the years, you folks have quoted the constitution, as providing that everyone wealthy be covered in someway or another, applying the word "Government subsidy" (welfare) to their logic. Welfare for the poor and needy does not compare to the price tag that the wealthy get in Government subsidy welfare for the wealthy. You can start with your false gods Elon and trump the thieving liars. Furthermore, the working poor, middle and upper-middle class pay their fair share of taxes, probably more than. The wealthy currently do not; especially now.

This may be understood by you. Why does it take so much writing for such a simple statement? And is not all of this just some peoples' opinion? Whose?
I think it wraps up the discussion.
Cheers.
