Sorry guys, but the original thread was about REAL football, not the pathetic Yanky version where the ponces dress up in ridiculous padded outfits and have a few seconds of tedious plays in between minutes of adverts.

"According to Forbes Magazine, the Cowboys are one of the most valuable sports teams in North America, with an estimated value of approximately $1.1 billion, second only to the Washington Redskins ($1.3 billion). They are also one of the wealthiest teams in the NFL, generating almost $250 million in annual revenue.

i wish i had me one of those clocks.
i wonder what the odds of the texans meeting the cowboys in the superbowl are this year.

Nowhere near enough footy debate on this forum so I thought I'd create one thread where we can bunch it all together.
A couple of matters to start with:
1. Roy Keane. IMO Sunderland will not be out of the bottom 16 by Christmas Day. Roy Keane does not have the experience or skills of management, and does not have the right personality to gain these ...[text shortened]... ealise the damage they are doing to their stature, built on a hundred years of history.
2. Do you believe it is false? If not, as I don't, I think the club was right to be transparent and explain the fallout with Gallas to his fans. If the players doesn't want people to know, well, he simply shouldn't have said it. Let's not forget that Gallas left for Chelsea after a similar arm-wrestle with Marseille. And English people complaining about treatment to fellow professionals is just funny. Have you read your press whenever there are matches against Portugal or Italy (for example)?
PS: And calling Wenger a "voyeur" is hardly refering to him as a "sexual predator". 🙄

2. Gallas is the best centre back in the country. Good bsiness for Arsenal. Mouriniho thinks he is clever by making certain suggestions. He is just a bully like Fergie his hero.

A person who derives sexual gratification from observing the naked bodies or sexual acts of others, especially from a secret vantage point.
Sounds like a sexual predator to me. In any case it's serious unprofessionalism which only serves to make Mourinho look bad.
I agree with you about the English press, I don't read tabloid sport for that very reason and am sick of British coverage of games - the ridiculing of the Andorra team by the BBC commentary team IMO was unprofessionalism in action too.
Originally posted by invigorateI think the difference is that Fergie and Mourinho are good at man-management, whereas I really can't see Keane being any good at this, prefering to berate a player rather than take him aside and listen to him.

1 win for Keane.....

Is Benitez squad picking starting to worry you yet? Mourinho's hint that he could drop Essien and Bridge could backfire on him too.
I know, that's the thing with squad selection. If it works, it's the players who have been playing well, if it doesn't it's the coach who's blamed for not choosing the "obvious" squad.
Originally posted by PalynkaWith our game against PSV that will mean LFC will have had to have played 7 games in a month, including a week out for most of the squad to go off and play a couple of international games - it's a brutal start to the season so there's no getting away from squad rotation. I'd have like to have seen more of Agger play though - Aurelio is a new buy who hasn't made a great start, Fowler looks shabby even after a full pre-season so that's kinda worrying for him. We'll get some momentum going soon though 🙂.

Someone get a real man at left back in Arsenal, will you? What a whiner Ashley Cole is! Unbelievable. "Oo-oh...the fans wouldn't cheer for me...Oo-oh...no one took me to dinner..."
When did they start letting women play in the premiership?
