Hey I don't make the odds I just report them. And if there are a ton of people betting on the Cowboys the odds shorten.

The English went out in the quarter finals of the WC, but now they've beaten Greece, Andorra and Macedonia they've leapt higher than Italy, the WC winners, in the official rankings. Fourth best team in the world now!

Why do FIFA persist with such a system that so blatantly opens them up to ridicule? At least they are consistent, given their performance on tackling racism.

The worst thing is that these rankings determine the pots for groups in qualifying and finals stages...

I think they should have a ranking system more like chess ratings: ratings changes depend only on rating of the team you're playing against and your own.

Yes i think Keano will do well, i'm from Sunderland and i think he will be using this job as a foot on the ladder for the Man U job, so he really needs to be succesful at it. With backing from Niall we should get back in the Premiership within two seasons then hoopefully stay there. A Love Supreme.

You must have dug this thread up from page 20!

Another loss for Sunderland today though - not great for Keano: 5 losses vs 4 wins since he took charge = 17 position in the league.
