Of course he has won more tournaments than anyone, until this year he was playing in like every tournament, which is also the reason for the most consecutive cuts made. You make the cut at a major right, and then you go play in 6 local tournaments against no named players, bam!!! you have made 7 consecutive cuts. And yes he does have the most majors wo ...[text shortened]... nd Jim Furyk are better. Heck even Adam Scott, and you probably don't even know who he is, lol.
Must be nice to live in such a comfy little fantasy land where little things like facts dont bother you. Mentioning Phil M as better will give you lots of credibility!! I am sure everyone has forgotten how many times Phil has choked.

Unless you consider how many times they have beaten Tiger instead of vis versa. But dont let facts get in your way!

No, No one forgets when anyone chokes or plays bad, unless you are Tiger, then everyone will always forget when you win something again.

Depends on your golf atire. For those who prefer casual dress and take pride in their general appearance, it would seem to be Tiger Wood.

For those who like sheeted-hoods and scissor cut holes, with long flowing white robes, accesorized with nice burning crosses... lol... it would be Max (tiny) Stoffler down at the 'Bob And Benny's Par Three', where you get a free round of miniature golf with every bucket of range balls you bring in from other courses.

Every year it's the same thing with Tiger. He wins majors, tops the world rankings and everyone calls him the number one golfer.

You are obviously misinformed. Tiger Woods may or may not be the
greatest player currently in golf, but he is certainly in contention. And,
given his current trend, he is certainly on track to be counted amongst
the greatest of golfers.

Consider first the number of Majors won in only eight years on
the circuit: Of the currently active players, Woods has the most with
11 wins equalling W. Hagen and only J. Nicklaus has more (with 18).
The golfers you name -- Mickelson, Furyk and Scott -- have 3,
1, and 0 majors respectively.

And, you are totally mistaken that Woods enters a disproportionately
higher number of non-major tournaments relative to other golphers.
Tournaments are the way in which golphers earn money; all active
golphers enter as many as they feel their schedules permit. Woods
enters somewhat fewer than most of the other big dogs on the
tour, but not significantly less. Yet, he has as many (or more) top
10 finishes and wins as any of them. Consider this and the past
three years in the PGA tour:

Looking at 2006 so far:
Name........Events......Top 10...Wins
Woods........11............7...........4
Mickelson....16...........8...........2
Furyk..........18...........9...........1
Scott...........13...........6...........0
Singh..........18...........10...........1

You will notice that Woods has the most wins, even with the fewest
event entries. He also has a higher % of top 10 finishes.

For 2005:
Name........Events......Top 10...Wins
Woods........21...........13...........6
Mickelson....21...........9...........4
Furyk..........26...........10...........1
Scott...........19...........6...........0
Singh..........30...........18...........4

Again, the most wins, and the highest % of top 10 finishes.

For 2004 (Tiger's weakest year):
Name........Events......Top 10...Wins
Woods........19...........14...........1
Mickelson....22...........13...........2
Furyk..........14...........2...........0
Scott...........16...........7...........2
Singh..........29...........18...........9 (huge year!)

Fewest wins, but highest % of top 10 wins (indicates consistency).

For 2003:
Name........Events......Top 10...Wins
Woods.........18...........12...........5
Mickelson.....23...........7...........4
Furyk...........27...........15...........2
Scott...........14...........2...........1
Singh..........27...........18...........4

The most wins (although relatively fewer events entered)
and the highest (with Singh) top 10 %.

Finally, you will note that Woods has won 50 tournaments, but your
three have only won 29, 11, and 3 -- less than Tiger combined, and
they have been on the circuit longer (excepting Scott).

Furthermore Woods has 50 wins in 210 (128 Top 10), Mickelson has
29 in 338 (123 Top 10), Furyk as 11 in 333 events (103 Top 10),
Scott has 3 in 84 (23 Top 10), and Singh has 29 in 345 (with 147
Top 10).

Clearly, Woods is by far the most dominant player in golf and, most
likely the best of the lot. Whether he can (and chooses) to keep up
his pace will determine whether he deserves the title of greatest.

Do your homework before you make false assertions.

Were'nt there people like you who also went to Muhammed Ali fights just to be there when he got knocked down?
