Genius.

Yes or no or Miracle... as per this thread.

Yes = "The world is better off without saddam"

no = "The world is better off if he was still there"

Miracle = Both. Like you want to believe.

Circle one.

Good night my ass.

Chicken shit.
Have you stopped beating your wife? Yes or no?

Goodnight,

Yes -- having never started, the only binary response is in the non zero. Binary. Try it. You can't do it, but try it. You'll like it.

that wasn't so tough. Try to respond in kind.

Saddam -- Yes or no? Give it a shot. Hero. It's only a single decision. Don't let it ruin the rest of your life. You can always equivicate later.

Love the good night part. Like you knew what was coming. Ok. I am glad to ruin your nights sleep. Coward.

You stopped beating your wife? Wow. I didn't know you used to beat your wife. You're even more of a prick than I thought.

Nor would you know anything.

It was a binary question. See this thread.

But you are right. I stopped in the binary because I never started. "not false" = True

Sorry. Genius. Do you dare to answer? Yes or No?

I think not. You are an idiot supreme. Always a companion to what you think a winning point. Never a herald of an idea. Sorry. Fool.

You are just another loser. Without a view. Oh. Sorry. Let me give you the benefit of the doubt. What do you think? Circle one.

Yes

No

Miracle

Fool a thousand times over...

You can't stop doing something unless you did it in the past. Therefore you were a wife beater, you scumbag.

EDIT - You do know what the word "stop" means, right?

You think?

Ok. What line of reasoning leads you to this? Using binary logic?

Keep in mind that binary is only "True or False"

I was accused of beating my wife and asked if i had stopped. Had I answered "no" then I had not stopped.

I simply stated that I had never started. The binary answer is "yes".

That is the point of this thread. Think about it. If you can.

1 = binary yes/no "the world is better off without saddam"

2 = binary yes/no "the world is better if he had not been removed"

3 = binary miracle/both "yes, but it was wrong to remove him"

Think. If you can. Which I doubt.

All the time keeping in mind what the universe "did" allow. It allowed his removal or not his removal. What we have is "his removal'. Damned reality. It just seems to happen. No use looking back like a vindictive cheer leader who lost out to the "pretty one".

Anyone out there who is a parent, or who has had to deal with a child misbehaving will recognise the behaviour of SVW.
Its simple attention seeking.
It is often just an irritating repetition of the same question (I'm reminded of Bart and Lisa Simpson hounding Homer for something - Simpson's buffs will know the episode, or the standard 'Are we there yet' questions), but sometimes descends into tantrums with threats.
I don't know why this is the case, and I'm really not interested.
The solution, like with children, is very simple. You can choose to respond to the behaviour and provide a 'reward' for it, which most likely means it will continue. Or, you can choose to ignore it, which means it will probably get worse in the short term but, once the child realises that their behaviour isn't going to be rewarded, they will stop.
Its difficult for a parent to ignore their child, and its the same with SVW. Sometimes what he posts seems to be such an 'open goal' its difficult to resist replying, but sure enough, he comes back with some gibberish which only makes sense to him, and you realise you've wasted another hour of your life.
Please, ignore him - its for his own good.

Or, if you're not the parent but the kid down the street, you can amuse yourself and others at the expense of the annoying brat.

SVW, you believe in a miracle; both that you stopped beating your wife, and that you never beat her in the first place. This is a paradox, and therefore you believe in a miracle!

I was accused of beating my wife and asked if i had stopped. Had I answered "no" then I had not stopped.

I simply stated that I had never started. The binary answer is "yes".

What's with this "never started" crap? Can't you pick a simple yes or no? Or are you too stupid and senile?

Guys, this 'debate' has become nothing but a slagging match, if it was ever anything more to start with. Please try to continue passionatly but also politely, disagree with someone but cut out the random insults. It's not necessary, it destroys any debate that was going, and it makes the forums a less pleasant place to be.

Thanks

Jon

Think of it. A real miracle. Two supposedly true statements that are mutually exclusive.

Which is it?

It can't be both. That would be a miracle. This miracle can best be said as "The Removal Of Saddam Didn't Require The War"

I call it the ...[text shortened]... ng you support the terrorists over the people of Iraq as demonstrated for the world last Sunday.
if they went to war to remove the threat of Saddam to the rest of the World you have to prove that there was a serious threat by Saddam to the rest of the world.

this simple fact has never been proved. there were no weapons of mass destruction and little or no potential to instigate such weapons.

should Saddam have been removed from power.

this is the grey area, if you are removing Saddam because his influence destabilises the middle east and threatens the long term production of oil which is the life blood of most economies around the world, then you should be honest enough to say that this is why you are doing it.

and you should take this same attitude and apply it around the rest of the world. China, Turkey, Zimbawe, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burma and about 100 other locations around the world where people do not have the basic freedoms that we all enjoy.

i'm a 'lefty' i believe that the war was necessary, that Saddam should have been removed from power because his regime denied the people of Iraq the freedoms that we should all enjoy.

i don't think that killing tens / hundreds of thousands of civillians in the cause of their own freedom is the way to do it. they aren't really going to either understand or appreciate it. look at vietnam, did America learn nothing?

When SVW stops, I'll stop. Or if I get bored I'll stop. He started the insults, I will either insult him last, or I'll get bored. I won't stop until then.

some people have been asked by PM to alter the way they routinely insult other users, and if they continue their forum rights will be suspended. Please try to help by cooling down too and reporting any further instances of abuse.

Thanks
