@Earl-of-Trumps
He is also a sociopath and pathological liar. Don't forget that part.
Who ya voting for in November?

The difference between a sociopath and a narcissist is that a sociopath doesn’t have an ego; he doesn’t have a conscience as such and a narcissist has a damaged ego, a very small and tragic one and will do anything and everything to protect it.
Somewhere above Shav says the he did not say that a sociopath doesn't have a conscience. But just hereinabove, he does say that. He also said Trump is a sociopath, so my statistics professor would conclude that Shav says that Trump has no conscience. You fellers give me a headache.

A sociopath (psychopath) does not have a conscience. He doesn’t feel guilt. He doesn’t feel happiness as such either.
Any emotion he shows is copied behaviour.

So, telling a sociopath that he is wrong is met completely blankly. Like if I said something to you in medievil Dutch. The sociopath can only act to comprehend.

A narcissist does have a conscience and does have an ego. It’s an extremely small and damaged ego. He will do and say anything to protect it.
So, telling a narcissist that he is wrong is extremely painful to him. To bolster his ego he will say literally anything (and actually believe it to be true). Even contradicting reality and often shifting the mistake onto the shoulders of others.

This isn’t hardcore psychology. Any google search for sociopathy vs narcism will explain this in detail for you.

I did not, somewhere above, state that trump was a sociopath. The post you refer to is me making the above distinction, because some people are suggesting trump is a sociopath.

He is not. He is a complete narcissist. I’ve said so for years.

The mere fact that you read into that post and derive my opinion on trump from it, is the proof you have poor comprehensive skills.

Yes. English is beyond your comprehension.

what could Trump have done differently. Remember to keep his possible actions within the framework of constitutional authority.
1. Listen to the truth.
2. Tell the truth.
3. Act upon the best available evidence.

4. Not disband the federal pandemic response agency.

5. Not put the stock market and personal wealth ahead of a killer virus.

1 edit

6. Not give people false hope. (This will disappear by itself. The shops will be open by Easter. 'Science' will have a vaccine by the end of the year.)

This isn't correct. High trait narcissism is a feature of psychopathy, assuming that by sociopathy you mean factor 2 psychopathy. There's a collection of traits and not all of them need to be present, so someone might have psychopathic traits but have normal range narcissism. A conscience is not a strong feature of narcissism. In terms of DSM-V criteria, factor 1 psychopathy correlates with Narcissistic Personality Disorder and factor 2 psychopathy (sociopathy) correlates with Anti-Social Personality Disorder. There's nothing stopping someone with ASPD having high trait narcissism, it's just not necessarily to the scale of a personality disorder.

@DeepThought
The bottom line is Trump is unfit to be POTUS, dissing his own intel, calling his GENERALS really bad names, then the Woodward tapes, Trump is his own worse enemy.

His motto: MAGA (For whites only)
