In some ways America IS like the Roman empire:

1. The romans primarily ruled by force. ditto USA.

2. Romans did nasty things to make examples of people and ignored their humanity (Crucifixion of Spartacus and his followers)
USA have Guantanamo bay.

3. Roman emperor Nero played the fiddle whilst Rome burned down.
US fraudster GWBush fiddled his thumbs whilst the Towers fell.

4. Roman emperor Calligula made his horse a senator.
Gerorge has daddy's friends serving around him.

5. Roman emperor Calligula married his sister.
Clinton had non-sexual blow-jobs from his intern and smoked fishy cigars.
