Cheers for the laugh.

My God if people wake up to their bleeting why we'll have no one to fight our wars and consume the pap we package as a useful productive life and heaven forbid they might want to really take a personal responsibility in terms of the effects of their consumption of resources, their footprint on the planet and how their overwhelming monopoly of resources has disproportionately created a gross immorality in this world where the weak have become the economic flotsam and jetsam of the wreckage that is unbridled globalised corporatised capitalism.

If this is madness then it is a magnificent obsession. Democracy is not just individual rights enshrined that through civic awareness fosters an altruistic charity, its an acknowledgment that in the basic inequality of attributes, capacities and capabilities, if left unregulated you will always have an environment where the strong would develop into positions of monopolistic power and control that would not only affect and afflict the weak and dispossessed but also impact on the independence of the self sufficient.
Do you think America would be a better place if you scrapped antitrust laws? Should people like the Rockerfellers have been left alone and should there only be one fuel company in the states today called Standard Oil? Should Microsoft be allowed to ameliorate all of its competition into its own corporate structure? Remember telephony and Ma Bell which became AT&T?
Whichever way you cut it, take away the bleeding hearts who would want fairness, you will soon live to see your low cost Consumer Utopia begin to dissapear as all that interfering governmental red tape was dispensed with and you will begin to pay top dollar for your goods as the monopolies started to form and the realization dawn that in the absence of competition there would be little need to keep the cost of their produce to the consumer at their expected traditional low levels.
Ultimately radical cons with their no government is good half baked philosophies would end up ushering in an unregulated monopolistic paradise that would bear all the hallmarks of a command economy, which was the greatness of Russian Style Communism under Stalin and Kruschev.
Gotta love his style.

It reminds me of a boy in a children's book who had to write a story of a certain length for his homework. His story went approximately like this: "Yesterday we went out for dinner. We had beef, noodles, potatoes, pork, peas, tomato sauce, ice cream, chocolate, rice, pizza, onion soup, ..." etc.
