I've noticed that people on these forums seem to get a bit grumpy if anyone dares stray from the proscribed topic of a thread. Personally I sometimes like to see how a conversation is going to pan out, so I've created this thread with no particular topic. Feel free to talk about anything and follow the flow of the conversation that I hope will arise.
I have posted a similair thread in the General forum for more frivolous subjects, here I feel I should impose the constraint that the thread should flow, but only to the more 'potentially heated' subjects.
Originally posted by jimmyb270I'm completly opposed to this. I have no idea in which diretion to go, and what if someone does stray off-topic, how will we know? Without clear boundaries, the idea of rationale and open debate will disintergate......

For those of us who saw it, how many thought the Super Bowl was boring? I did but I thought Paul McCartney put on a great halftime show.
Originally posted by AThousandYoungYeah I know the score was close but, for me, the drama was lacking. I felt like it was a foregone conclusion that the Pats were going to win. McNabb was clearly shaken up and I don't think either team was really at the top of their game. It just seemed like the Pats made less mistakes.

I think the Pats are now a dynasty in the same sense that the 49ers, Cowboys, and Steelers were.

Ok so noone brought up any good points against my view, I must be correct.
