Points of view are either well-researched or not, I accept that even those of good faith who research things out can have different points of view on anyone worthy of a vote. I believe the vast majority do not take the time to dig into anything but only take in surface-level information, not checking its truthfulness and accuracy. The reason is that most people view politics negatively as a subject and can quickly turn the channel if it starts. So the first impressions on anyone could take them from the time they hear it to the voting booth and beyond. An ad, a comment from a relative, co-worker, or friend, or some random conversation they happen to overhear could be enough to establish their point of view on the voting booth choices.

With a willingness to limit information coming in to get a more accurate understanding, they can take what snippet they do get to form a favorable or negative without looking past the surface to see if these things are true. Sadly that would mean very little thought is ever given to what comes next.

Remember this, when a politician runs on common sense gun control everyone thinks yeah, me too that is good. The trouble if you don't get past the phase of common sense gun control can mean extremely diverse points of view, but the common voter doesn't know the specifics and could walk away thinking they agree with someone they do not, we must have more information than a warm and fuzzy sound bite. Without interviews and debate, where we see them forced to give more than a single sound bite, we have no idea what they are about.

A flowery speech may make us feel good, a picture of my parents and grandparents on my walls makes me feel good, but that doesn't pay for my gas or put food on the table.

Take home lesson: don’t get your news from social media. Informed consent requires in the first instance complete and accurate information.

Complete information requires a thorough understanding of all sides of a discussion, blocking one point of view out by canceling or calling it disinformation when it simply disagrees with one side limits our understanding. We have to know the strengths and weaknesses of our points of view and we will never get that if all we hear are those we agree with telling us what we want to hear.

And what YOU hate hearing is just how bad Trump is at governing and business, you only want to hear what asssholes like Tucker Carlsen has to say which was TOTAL bias in favor of Trump and THAT is a fact, a verifiable fact.
Fox news admitted in court they were not a news organization but an entertainment channel. As such they were TOLD to misrepresent the news to make Trump look as good as possible and if those newsmen didn't like it, take a hike.
But I bet you don't believe any of that to this day.

Wow, who would have known the great Average Joe 1 would have trouble reading that post.
You really need to take that course called reading comprehension 101 again.
Why you find it hard to read is you growling to yourself every time you hear disparaging remarks about your orange savior or ANYTHING disparaging about your beloved Fox News so your mind just clouds over and the import of the message gets thrown out.
And I doubt you even understand THIS post either.

But besides all that, I was talking to Kelly not you.

Your opinion of me are simply your opinion and your opinions of others are simply your opinions and you spout them as if they were facts.

The thing about integrity and information is you really need a full understanding of all points contrary to one another. You simply denigrate opinions and people who don’t agree with you, you are to me someone who firmly believes what doesn’t agree with you is disinformation to be ignored and cancelled instead of taking seriously another person could look at the same data and come up with a different conclusion.

Again you bring up Trump as if this post was about him and not simply the topic and context of my comments. You have a mental problem that he lives in your mind so every single thing revolves around him!

Yeah, SO hard to follow a real news report dissing your only 'news' outlet and you can't even acknowledge the fact Fox news paid close to a BILLION dollars in reparations for the false stories they pushed about Dominion voting machines.
Do you deny THAT also?
I know this stuff is hard to read, especially for a dyed in the wool magite like yourself.

So you continue to distract from my charges. OF COURSE he is in our minds on a daily basis. ANYONE who says they will be a dictator on day one will have our full attention. ANYONE who spouts off to an Aussie billionaire about how close we can get to a Russian sub undetected gets our full attention.
The fact you give him a bye on ALL of it is REALLY disturbing, I cant understand how you can ignore all the stuff he said and did from the coup attempt to the national security issues. How can you give him a bye on all that?

Again and again again, It is NOT hate. We are talking about his treasonous ACTIONS and he HAS to be stopped.

If he wins you WILL have buyers remorse for the BS he WILL start the day he is reelected. It will be the darkest days in US history since the civil war. The
so called 'policy' of project 2025 would LITERALLY take us back 200 years in terms of our hard won freedoms like the right for women to vote or the killing of Roe V Wade and the loss of women to control their own bodies, something YOU hate from day one.
But the kill of Roe V Wade is just the first shot over the bow, they have much more on the loss of freedom agenda, where right now those bastards in Texas made it a crime to actually cross state lines to find a free state to get an abortion and if you think that is ok you are in far worse shape mentally than anything you charge against me.

You need to give less attention to corporations who lie, and as a consequence, think they deserve obscene profits over regular profits. They also seem to think that they are God-driven to do this in order to make the current president, whom they despise because he dares to regulate them, look bad. Corporations have far greater control over prices than do political leaders. So if you can't afford gas, or rent, or food, blame the corporations who believe they deserve obscene profits at the expense of "the little people", i.e. you. Corporate CEOs are doing very, very well in this supposedly "bad" economy. Bad for you = good for them.

Fear and dread (Trumpublican staples) are not "interesting". It's just "same old, same old."

If you're getting paid by RHP, Russ is wasting his money.
