NATURALLY you want to distract from the REAL danger to US democracy, that is the republicans to near the last man and woman are hypnotized by Trump into thinking we don't need a democracy any more but are just FINE with the US turning into a LITERAL authoritarian kingdom.
There is no doubt about it, if Trump had won his criminal push against the very basis of our democracy there would BE no democracy but a Trump now KING forever.
And republicans would LOVE that since they are almost to the last one, in fact against a real democracy, you know, that part where there are free and uncontested elections and the loser graciously invites the winner to the WH to show the new person around like Obama did when Trump won.
That of course will NEVER happen with Trump in charge.
Like his latest monkey wrench, firing all the upper civilians in the Pentagon and installing his sycophant yes men who just oh so coincidentally refused to allow the transition team to read the intel reports so they could understand what is going on in the world of espionage and adversarial threats, completely ignoring the fact our adversaries WILL take advantage of a perceived weakness in our security.
But what does Trump care about US security?
He has proven over and over again he could care less what kind of danger there is in weakening our own military responses by putting in civilian yes men who have ZERO experience in the job, and Trump could care less about THAT either.
He is a TREASONOUS POTUS and should be charged with treason.

The founding fathers of the US said to have a democracy, you have to be forever vigilant or else you have people like Trump trying to destroy it and that is EXACTLY what Trump tried to do, DESTROY the US as a democracy and install Trump as the newest banana republic king.
You can NEVER prove otherwise because the evidence is overwhelming.
