@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidThe really disturbing stuff is the treatment of women in Islamic societies.
There is some pretty disturbing stuff in the Quran, but then there is some pretty disturbing stuff in the Bible.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidEven more disturbing is that there are so many people around here who support these criminals.
The really disturbing stuff is the treatment of women in Islamic societies.

@Rajk999 saidThat's convenient. Thank goodness you're around to decide which wars are just and unjust.
The Crusades was the result of Muslims attempting to take Christian territory .. Jerusalem was under attack from the Seljuk Turks. Nothing strange about that. Their lifestyle is trying to take what is not theirs and conquering by forced conversions, murder and rape.
The Crusades was a just war.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidWhere have I said that's a good thing?

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidYou haven't, but have you ever condemned it?
Where have I said that's a good thing?
500 million muslim women in male bondge would like to know.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidYes, I have.

Both Islam and Christianity have a backward and outdated view of women (especially in their dusty religious writings).
@Cliff-Mashburn saidThis is a horrible quote from the Quran about women:
The really disturbing stuff is the treatment of women in Islamic societies.
"the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. And if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church."
Oh no wait, that was from the Bible. ((1 Corinthians 14:34)
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidVery clever, now LOOK at the way women are treated in modern European/Western cultures versus Eastern Islamic ones, then get back to us.

Don't quote some 2000 year old sh..y.te from a different time when all women were treated like that and think it applies today. That's being intellectually dishonest..
Which is par for the libtard way of thinking actually.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidYou are most welcome. Clearly you lack the ability discern good from evil and right from wrong. In the case of the Crusades Muslims invaded Jerusalem, around 1070 AD killing about 3000 Jews and Christians ... WRONG / EVIL. The then Byzantine Empire was unable to hold them off and sent for help from the Pope. European Christians went down there and showed them, Death were in the hundreds of thousands, mostly Muslims.. GOOD / RIGHT. Its called justice or a just war.
That's convenient. Thank goodness you're around to decide which wars are just and unjust.
Likewise in Nigeria and DRC Muslims are killing Christians. If the US goes in and kill about 100,000 of these animals, it will also be a just war.
Next time you need help please do not hesitate to ask. I know you have a soft spot for Islam, but sadly for you, you are on the side of evil.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidDusty religious writings in the Christian bible, but not practiced today.
Yes, I have.
Both Islam and Christianity have a backward and outdated view of women (especially in their dusty religious writings).
Islam however, DOES follow their horrific religious writings.
And don't bring up some strange Christian cult that has a couple hundred members as a counter example versus the entire Islamic world of a billion people and play the gotcha game. Once again, that's would be a dishonest and contentious argument over nothing.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidYou are correct. Here are womens rights in Islam:

There are so many rights for women in Islam.
1. Women can marry 4 husband while a man only one wife.
2. Women can instantly divorce their husband just by saying talaq 3 times and men don't have such privilege.
3. Women can wear whatever they want while men have to cover up head to toe.
4. Women can travel alone but a man needs a female guardian.
5. Women inherit twice the wealth than men.
6. Women's testimony is worth twice that of a men.
7. Women can beat men as advised in the Quran
8. Women can keep men as sex slaves
9. Women can rape men caught as war prisoners
10. Women can have their husbands stoned to death if he commits adultery
Oh .. wait. These are mens rights in Islam.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidDid you notice that he compares women keeping silent in the churches to the rape, abuse, beheading, stoning etc that women have to endure under Islam?

@Cliff-Mashburn saidRajk still thinks women should be quiet. He has stated that clearly and used the writings of Paul to justify it.
