It is well known Russian hackers are VERY good at their job.
Don't know how you got the impression we were saying they sucked at being hackers.
They were into our systems and other systems around the whole planet, THOUSANDS of computers totally free to see everything in it by the new trick they figured out making what looked like authentic authorization to get into all those comps.
One worry is they could stop our power grid computers and cause blackouts in most of the US.
But a respected dude said that is not their intent.
Their intent is to get data they can use as intel.
So don't try to say we think the suck at hacking. They are the best in the world at it and we are just finding out now, not by our intel folks but by an independent American software company who figured it out.
This attack was something new that we never saw before.
They were in our comps and others around the world for MONTHS.

14yr olds can hack federal systems, the trick is not getting caught, so the Russian hackers are on a par with 14yr olds given that they were caught with their paws in the DNC servers and this latest spy hack.
