This professing shock and horror that he acts as he's always acted is contrived.

My only point is that he has every right behave in the juvenile manner that he's always behaved. If people don't like it, they can vote against him.

We're talking here about a particular leader of a particular country, don't try to generalise it; if the UK Prime Minister (for example) behaved in this way they'd be out of office before you could say 'troll'.

Your original point was that Mister Trump should be allowed to behave in this 'juvenile' manner, my counterpoint is that he should not, I don't see what is 'contrived' about any of it.

Are you now saying that his actions should be allowed to pass without comment, because 'That's just the way he is.' or 'What else would people expect.' ? Where does that lead? (It's a rhetorical question, requiring no answer. )

Do you mean the Nobel Peace Prize for 'ending' a conflict which he's been bankrolling for a couple of years? I daresay he's delusional enough to think that he actually deserves it. Or maybe it's the one which he said he was going to end in 24 hours? Hang on, that didn't happen though, did it?

We don't have no confidence votes in our system. We elect Presidents every four years. The only way to remove a President is to impeach him. Posting an AI video of him in a royal outfit dumping on protesters is not a crime.

We also have freedom of speech in the USA. That freedom applies to the President too.

The last question may be rhetorical, but I'll respond anyway. Of course it doesn't have to "pass without comment" You can comment on it all you like. You just can't punish him or remove him from office for exercising his freedom of speech, just as he can't punish the protesters for doing the same.

Probably not.

But if he manages to somehow broker a comprehensive middle east peace or an end to the Russo-Ukrainian war, they may have no choice but to give it to him.
