@shavixmir saidYes, I heard many of them call for it in so many words, in videos posted on X.
Yeah… did you hear anyone of those 7 million people calling for him to be assissinated?
Nope.
A couple of quick examples, though I saw more over the weekend:

@Indonesia-Phil saidThe video was juvenile trolling. It would be par for the course if Trump were in middle school, which he basically never left.
'Trump is likewise allowed to troll them on social media,'
Actually he isn't, or shouldn't be in any civilised society. It isn't the President's job to 'troll' any sector of the populous of the country which they govern. I couldn't open the link, and haven't seen the video, but from the descriptions here it sounds disgusting, visually and conceptually. Maybe some pe ...[text shortened]... y be a ripping good yarn, but maybe not everyone shares the joke, and for that they may be forgiven.
Sure leaders of countries should be more mature.
But Trump was always an egomaniac man-child and everyone always knew it, and the country elected him anyway. He has no incentive to grow up. And he won't. He'll die the same person as he is today, and everyone knows it.
This professing shock and horror that he acts as he's always acted is contrived.
My only point is that he has every right behave in the juvenile manner that he's always behaved. If people don't like it, they can vote against him.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidHey,
the king was supposed to be camila wasnt it? absolutely zero votes from the public to be the candidate. no votes just installed for you. thats how kings and dictators work.
too stupid to think if Trump was acting like a king there would not have been any protest allowed.
was your bunny costume hot yesterday?
He is doing his best to squash an protesting!! 😉

@sh76 saidYeah, juvenile behavior, just what you want in a POTUS.

@sh76 saidWe're talking here about a particular leader of a particular country, don't try to generalise it; if the UK Prime Minister (for example) behaved in this way they'd be out of office before you could say 'troll'.

Your original point was that Mister Trump should be allowed to behave in this 'juvenile' manner, my counterpoint is that he should not, I don't see what is 'contrived' about any of it.
Are you now saying that his actions should be allowed to pass without comment, because 'That's just the way he is.' or 'What else would people expect.' ? Where does that lead? (It's a rhetorical question, requiring no answer. )
@Very-Rusty saidDo you mean the Nobel Peace Prize for 'ending' a conflict which he's been bankrolling for a couple of years? I daresay he's delusional enough to think that he actually deserves it. Or maybe it's the one which he said he was going to end in 24 hours? Hang on, that didn't happen though, did it?
The question is will he get the Nobel Peace Prize he so desires? 😉

@Indonesia-Phil saidWe don't have no confidence votes in our system. We elect Presidents every four years. The only way to remove a President is to impeach him. Posting an AI video of him in a royal outfit dumping on protesters is not a crime.

We also have freedom of speech in the USA. That freedom applies to the President too.
The last question may be rhetorical, but I'll respond anyway. Of course it doesn't have to "pass without comment" You can comment on it all you like. You just can't punish him or remove him from office for exercising his freedom of speech, just as he can't punish the protesters for doing the same.
@Very-Rusty saidProbably not.

But if he manages to somehow broker a comprehensive middle east peace or an end to the Russo-Ukrainian war, they may have no choice but to give it to him.
@sonhouse saidDonald Trump is never what I wanted in a POTUS.
Yeah, juvenile behavior, just what you want in a POTUS.
But if you want to blame never-Trump Republicans like me for allowing Trump to ransack and take over our once-great party, then you Democrats also have to shoulder some of the blame for being so utterly incompetent at politics and letting him dump all over you like a no kings protester in his AI video.
