@earl-of-trumps saidNot a guy you want running the world's largest economy.
NYTimes - He had paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years — largely because he reported losing much more money than he made.

@mott-the-hoople saidHow is that working out these days ?
the man responsible for the greatest economy in history?
Seems that COVID-19 has knocked that economy into the ditch.
Managing an economy also includes managing the threats to that economy.
Unfortunately, his political objectives (re-election) got in the way of protecting a $20 trillion economy.
btw, you never did tell us what laws you want changed under a new SCOTUS.

@mghrn55 saidAn economy that a pandemic doesnt affect? just make it up as you go.

The law that forbids a man from having fifty wives.
You never did answer my question if brothers/sisters/mothers/fathers should be able to marry.

@mott-the-hoople saidYour guy has fumbled the COVID 19 response.

That is not in dispute.
As to your 2nd response, I'll let that ridiculous response stand on it's own.

@mott-the-hoople saidResponsible how? What act did he sign? What law did he create? What *specific* thing did the guy dumb enough to go bankrupt running a casino do?
the man responsible for the greatest economy in history?
@wolfe63 saidI didn't see any copies of tax returns on that link. How do we know the claims in that NYT link are true? Did the author of the article see any copies of Trump's tax returns? This could be gossip for all we know.
...in 10 out of the last 15 years.

The Trump family are "LOSERS".
Their followers are "SUCKERS".

@mghrn55 saidIt is in dispute. Trump claims he followed Fauci's recommendation. Since Fauci downplayed the threat of SARS2 in the beginning that is entirely consistent with the timeline of Fauci statements.
Your guy has fumbled the COVID 19 response.

Why are you so eager to blame Trump for Fauci's endless contradictory statement and lies? I listed many of them on my "RFK jr. says Fauci is a fraud" thread. Fauci has deliberately lied at least twice to the American people and both times it resulted in people dying.
Why are you ignoring Fauci's lies? His lies killed people.

In fact Trump as a business man declared losses whereever he could if there was any reality in that or not. Some would call it lying and tax fraud some call it genius or economic ratio.
If I pump enough taxpayer money into an economy I can create any kind of numbers. How has the national debt developed under Trump?
And for the blue collar people: How has the wealth distribution altered?
Mott and Metal pelase bring forth all the numbers and then we discuss. And a lot we can only assess restrospectively (which should be clear to anyone with a Basic understanding of economy)

@earl-of-trumps saidSo his best case scenario here is that he’s a perennially crap businessman?
NYTimes - He had paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years — largely because he reported losing much more money than he made.
Now let me see, here.... Trump lost lots more than he made. 🙄
Jeezus b'jeezus. That bastid!!
