As to Britain, I didn’t say they didn’t own it. I’m saying the colonists defended themselves ( good bad or in different) with rifles from a protracted advancement of their enemy.
Which gets us back to needing rifles against an enemy (Trump and republican).
How do you square the lib conflict of two positions: Trump is like Hitler, but guns (for purposes of defense) must be taken from citizens.
Oh I left out your Alamo comment. The issue, which is really complicated, has nothing to do with ‘who won’. It is about defending oneself. If Trump is a Hitler, shouldn’t we have rifles?

You seem to have missed this

No AJ the only practical use for your rifles and side arms are defence and / or offence against your fellow citizens. In terms of defence of the home (inside the house) I would suggest short barrelled side arms are much more practical than long barrelled rifles. But when it comes to a modern army with its drones and artillery and such, either comply or kiss your ass goodbye.
