Trump is just sowing seeds of division. That is what the establishment tells him to do. If he does that he will get generous media coverage during the 2024 election and be POTUS again.

It is highly irregular for a former president to weigh in on foreign policy decisions. You don't hear Clinton or Bush or Obama popping up on the Ukraine issue. Only Trump. Trump simply can't bear not being in the limelight.

Division is just what Putin wants -- a divided America is easier to out-maneuver, or ignore.

Big difference between Putin in 2001 when he was apparently “throwing – his lot in with the West”, vs. praising him as he invades a country.
