Read the article. Her old devices were not "under subpoena" when they were destroyed; that happened years before when they malfunctioned or were simply replaced.

Physically destroying such a device is a good idea according to security experts:

" But given that Clinton was relying on a handful of aides with limited resources to act as her entire IT infrastructure, it ...[text shortened]... enced with how to do it."

Not if we throw him in Rikers, where he belongs.
Unfortunately, the constitution does not deal with the possibility of an imprisoned president. Trump might be able to serve a presidency from prison.

@AverageJoe1
Yeah, THAT Peter, you know, the one ran out of town by repub zombies because he dared tell the truth.
You are just following the zombie propaganda lies again, so what else is new.
IF Trump is guilty? Did you maybe forget he is ALREADY guilty of several crimes?
You maybe forgot the TWO fraud charges PROVEN in court? His so-called Trump university or his so-called "Charity''? Fined 25 MILLION? I guess in today's zombie world that is just boys will be boys?
Or the rape trial, FIVE million in settlement, which BTW was contingent on Trump not badmouthing his victim and now a NEW trial date because that idiot Trump can't keep his stupid mouth shut and continued badmouthing her THE NEXT DAY after that 5 mil award?
I guess you figure that kind of behavior is just what you want in a POTUS since he is in your incredible opinion the best POTUS in US history.
NOW we can talk about the TRAITOR part of the bargain. I bet you don't even want to DISCUSS THAT bit.

@Mott-The-Hoople
Yes you are.

He will prob be elected before a trial might be completed, as November election is only 15 months away. SO, he could become president during the trial?? Then what happens.

Can a person run for president, or be elected president, after being convicted of a crime or even while in jail? The answer appears to be yes. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/04/06/trump-running-for-president-prison-00090931

@Mott-The-Hoople
You mean your god king Trump is above the law.

@AverageJoe1
It was obvious you are mentally unable to respond to the actual charges which I predicted. Says a lot about YOU.

In theory, yes, but does anyone really believe that Trump could win an election after being convicted of multiple felonies?

Trump's campaign now is mostly a scam to get suckers to pay his lawyers. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/former-us-president-trump-has-spent-40-million-legal-fees-reports-2023-07-30/

After all you've seen from Republicans backing Trump through all his lies, being found guilty of scams, inciting insurrection, multiple indictments, etc....what makes you think that would matter?

The FBI is being demonized by Republicans to where they want to defund it; if Trump gets convicted it will simply feed into his persecution narrative; Fox news and other right-wing media would probably liken him to MLK, Gandhi or Mandela.

I can't you believe you'd seriously ask that question after all you've seen. If allowed to run from prison he's still be a threat to win.

Republicans are a minority in this country; Trump Republicans even more so.

He lost the last election by more than 7 million votes and you're seriously asserting he might win the next one if and when he's convicted of multiple felonies?

Trump got the second most votes in U.S. history. He had *more* votes after four years of chaos, racism and countless falsehoods.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/more-than-1-million-voters-switch-to-gop-raising-alarm-for-democrats

This article, released only 3 days after Roe v. Wade was overturned, says that 1 million people across 43 states switched to the Republican party. More lawmakers switched in 2023 switched from Dem to Republican than the other way around.

The trajectory of both Trump and the GOP has only risen. This doesn't mean that Trump will next year but to seriously act as if prison would actually affect Trump's chances is ludicrous.

This Republican won a primary despite being in jail for murdering his wife:

You think the GOP gives a god damn if Trump goes to prison?
