To all Forumers.....This one is suggesting...PLEASE follow me with a sense of LAW and Common Sense......is suggesting that someone who breaks in here illegally (known in legal circles as illegal aliens) SHOULD GET A PASS BECAUSE THEY ARE RAISING FAMILIES AND WORKING.
Think. So, they are absolved of breaking the law? A BIG law? Absolved?

If Mott robs a liquor sto ...[text shortened]... a pass for the same reasons.

Hurry up, I am skipping my grandson's soccer game for the answer.
Please stop pretending you are so concerned about people breaking a petty misdemeanor when you worship at the feet of a man convicted of 34 felonies.

And maybe, just maybe, even someone as stupid as you might admit that shooting someone in the face multiple times is a bit more of a serious matter than crossing a border.

This Marauder, grabbing at any spindly straw he can get his page-turning fingers on, has TOTALLY AVOIDED my point....To Wit:

Think. So, they are absolved of breaking the law? A BIG law? Absolved? Does he think a guy who robs a store gets a pass because he has a family and a job? Will he tell us the difference? Don't we all want to know what he thinks the difference is?

Why do you think the violation of a petty misdemeanor that is rarely prosecuted is more serious than a convicted felon or someone shooting a person in the face?

Answer that question.

Immigration policy, like any policy, should be based on what's good for the country. It's obviously important to prosecute felons like Donald Trump or killers like Jonathan Ross but why harass people contributing to the economy just because they, possibly long ago, violated a minor misdemeanor than, at most, would get you a few months in jail? It's stupid and wasteful and you and your right wing cronies only support it for racist reasons having to do with your white nationalist ideas.

It would be nice if you'd just admit it, you POS.

That law didn't even exist for 150 years of the nation until a racist white supremacist named Coleman Livingston Blease pushed it through the Congress in 1929. https://www.history.com/articles/illegal-border-crossing-usa-mexico-section-1325

Blease, among other things, "opposed civil rights for African Americans, spoke in favor of lynching, and resisted educational opportunities for Black citizens. In the Senate, he introduced legislation targeting interracial relationships and criticized efforts at racial inclusion in public life."

I did answer it. To wit:

It's stupid and wasteful and you and your right wing cronies only support it for racist reasons having to do with your white nationalist ideas."

I can see why you are too much of a coward to answer mine.

You're stupid, Joe but probably not so stupid that you can't understand why a law you think is more important than say murder was instigated by a sworn white supremacist after the nation felt no need for it for 150+ years.

hahahahaha. pitiful. (and I can be stupid and still pose this most-simple question. Even KingMoses could answer it)

First you start with the word 'WHY":. To answer with WHY makes your 'answer' a QUESTION!!!!

So, we are quite non-plussed. So again, .................Can you explain the difference here, two lawbreakers, the illegal alien is allowed to remain illegally in this country because he has family and a job. (Eureka, his friend Jose can accomplish that same status in 9 months....Live and Be Supported in the USA!!)
The bank robber does not get that privilege. Why, to use your word.? Why?

Oh, as a bonus, tell us what in the hell white supremacists have to do with this
๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿค”

Here is question I posed, I didn't mean to upset you....

Racism is a claim liberals make when they are losing an argument. Nothing to do with actual racism.

Yeah, Marauder will realize that and get back to us with common sense. I have preached common sense as much a Sonhouse on Jan 6 and the 39 felonies!
Hey, check out where I am 'in your face' on the wearing of masks by ICE.

Your question was answered.

Now answer mine.

In my area, people charged with a petty misdemeanor who have little or no criminal record and are employed usually get what is called an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal (ACOD). That means if they do not get arrested again within the next six months, the charge is dismissed. In some cases they might get a small fine. The rather few cases where Section 1325 is prosecuted compared to the number of entries has similar results:

"In practice, many first-time improper entry cases are handled quickly. Federal magistrate courts along the border often process these cases in groups, with defendants entering guilty pleas and receiving sentences of time served or short jail terms. " https://legalclarity.org/8-usc-1325-improper-entry-by-alien-and-criminal-penalties/

To compare that to armed robbers or criminals who shoot others in the face is childish thinking.

There isn't any doubt that Blease pushed the law we are discussing for racist reasons.

I agree, a person who shoots another in the face should receive a harsh penalty. ..............providing, however, that he is NOT shooting in self defense, where a shot to the crotch may be more appropriate.
I am afraid that this proviso is not part of your reasoning here?

So, yes, if I walk up to a guy at the bus stop and shoot him in the face, I should be executed within 45 days. We agree. Do you know that your brother Shave holds that no one should. be executed for any reason.

You did not answer the question, I will continue to hammer you until you do. Maybe a fresh thread, same analogies, though I don't really consider such facts as analogies.
Why don't you just answer the question, you have a lot of fans on this Forum.
