President Trump absolutely has the Authority to cancel any prior Presidential Executive Orders, whether it was done with or without an auto pen.
None of you has ever weighed in on this issue, and you could get teary-eyed if Trump bullies this one!!!!!

Ahhh a true piece de resistance of Trump's tenure as President. Deporting millions of Biden's illegal alien invading invitees is a hard task, but this one can be done simply with Don's own stroke of a pen....NOT an auto pen.

A president can cancel or modify a previous president's executive orders. It's been done plenty of times in the past.

I would think that if it can be proven the pardons were done by underlings without the president's knowledge or consent that they could easily be rescinded. They don't have the authority to grant pardons in the president's name.

There's no such "proof" and that would have to be done by the judiciary, not by executive fiat.

This is a convenient topic.

My dinner group and I have recently been commenting that the very next Democratic president could do the country a massive favor by rescinding every Trump executive order with one of his (or her) own, restoring things back to when America was great.

I kept waiting for Biden to rescind every nonsense thing that happened during Trump's first term, but that unfortunately never happened. America deserves to have someone come in and make it like Donald Trump never happened to America.

That an underling manually operated the autopen (of course!) is hardly proof that Biden was unaware of what was being signed.

Maybe you should read your own article, Tanden is quoted as saying:

"“I had no experience in the White House that would provide any reason to question [Biden’s] command as president.”

You are correct. The next president can deal with Exec Orders in the same fashion, we all know that . Whew. So, your point must be that if he/she is a democrat, that said cancelations would result in the downfall of America. Only my opinion, of course, founded in the fact that democrats are a nightmare. Will they re-open the border, which Marauder says was never open?

Let's put it this way....If just ONE of the orders was signed by someone other than Biden, would it not follow that all orders get the same treatment and be canceled? How can one pick and choose.
What if a pardon for Queartezean was canceled, .....what about his cohort ABdulJzemerian.....should his not be canceled too?

She asked this of the man , Trump, who is working 18 hours a day to fix many things that occurred over the last several years. Is she stupid? Yes.
But the issue is that Trump told her, to her face, that she is stupid. Given that she has no idea (as many people on this forum don't) what is going on with the alien crisis, he had no other recourse but to hit the question between the eyes. A namby-pamby like Jimmy Carter or Tim Walz would have quietly said, ooohhh, we think there are a lot reasons, no one is to blame...blah blah...
