@earl-of-trumps saidLMAO! Actually, I did quote the Professor and provided a link to his blog post in my first post.
Apparently you did not quote the professor
Your lying lib rag may have gotten an aspect correct but it does NOT negate the general thrust
We all know why the professor was laid off, it is because of systemic racism in liberals
You actually don't know s**t, including the fact he wasn't "laid off" (or what the word "racism" never mind the concept of "systemic racism" means).

chang.org.
Another lying liberal rag. who the hell can trust them.
Newsweek states the issue was over the email response, not what you claimed in the OP. UCLA said, even before the lawsuit, that an investigation was not needed and that teachers are free to refuse requests to change the grading structure.
Your Newsmax article, unsurprisingly, was a load of crap.

@jimm619 saidPitiful. You make my point. "You know as well as I that each professor had different standards, etc etc". Yes, Jester, each teaches in their own way. They run their classrooms. The class best shut up and follow his teachings if they want to be on the top of that curve you talk about, ....although I have no idea why you bring up the curve in this post. Should I bring up the sand-filled hour glass that my Statistics professor had on his desk? Jester, what would that have to do with the point of this post?
I lost you? You're up so far on your 'high horse' that I gotta' shout.
College kids are STILL college kids, unless you're telling me you were a Saint. You know as well as I that each professor had different standards, grading formulas and normal human biases .....Remember 'grading on the curve''?
Anyway, this is nothing special, really a non issue to me. I side with the court but the kids ain't villains, anyway., never hurts to ask.
You and I thus agree, teachers run their classrooms however they want to? Is that what you are saying? Because, that is what I am saying . You libs sure waste a lot of ink.
@averagejoe1 saidI suppose we both wasted a lot of ink

discussing a less than average issue.
@averagejoe1 saidLike, what has changed? The neeeeed to dumb down education to appease the loser-liberals, and ruin the United States of America? Folks like Zahlanzi would be OK with it, but we should be concerned.
All students should be graded the exact same, as was the case when I was graded in 1960.
Pray tell, if you libs want to dive in, what has changed.?
@averagejoe1 saidIt's not necessarily dumbing down,

@averagejoe1 saidDumb down education? It's been going on for decades in America, also Europe and elsewhere.

@no1marauder saidwell then you didn't quote everything he had to say.

I had a PAGE of links all saying the same thing. You find one that is different (perhaps selectively incomplete)
and you think, of course, your link is better!
Tell me, is your link MORE CORRECT than yahoo.com, which agreed with NEWSMAX? Jeezus, you people.

@earl-of-trumps saidAll your sources were right-wing links that share the same disinformation. It's like complaining that all your flat-earth sites are being ignored.
