I imagine they do care about what their students think in this regard, however.
If the local McDonald's got 20,000 complaints about how one of their cashiers addressed customers, I imagine it might very well discipline that cashier even if you and the Earls of the world thought they had done nothing wrong.
And, you are right, it is the over sensitive babies that do dictate the terms to the faculty because they are paying to be baby sat. It is their "safe space" pathetic.
