"Is Finland’s basic universal income a solution to automation, fewer jobs and lower wages?
Both left and right are promoting the idea of a basic wage for everyone,
currently on trial, as a solution to the new world of work."

Sounds like the new world of unemployment.

If the country can afford it great, little more than a tax rebate for those who pay taxes.

OK, tax rebates made in installments.

Of course for those who do not pay taxes, free money from the government.

    Sort of.

Most calculations point towards the basic income system actually costing less than the current systems we use.

I'm very interested in what the results of the experiment will be.

I don't look at it so much as a "tab" as I do a count down, kinda like for a rocket launch, only, the rocket explodes sending joyful left wing and Islamic celebrations around the world. 😵

As government taxes do away with more and more jobs, the government becomes that more important. We must make government bigger to take care of me in this new normal.
