@Eladar
Proving once again just how STUPID you really are.

But in fact it is WORSE than mere stupidity.

You are actively seeking to destroy democracy in the US.

That makes you a Russian asset in my eyes.

ANYONE who wants to end democracy in the US and is a US citizen is in fact a traitor if they want to force an end to democracy here.

That would be most of the republican party right now with Trump as cult leader.

Enter the Trump cult, please leave brains behind. You can carry weapons though.

Unsubtle, but it is the core of the point. And Kmax87 points out the other side of the coin.

If you can claim the unvaccinated as a designated target, why not fat people, alcohol drinkers, etc.

Yet, the unvaccinated are holding society and the economy to a certain extent hostage. And clogging up the hospitals.

But so do people who live unhealthy life styles to a certain degree too.
The only problem with equivalence is that you being fat, or alcoholic or a nicotine addict does not jump across the space between you and me and cause a similar affliction. And even if it did, it would take years before I would face serious adverse outcomes. And if we look at smoking, society has pretty much said due to secondary smoke issues, that you and your habit requires you to be isolated from us when you light up.

The point is with fatness, alcohol or tobacco, we all have a degree of choice.

What choice do we have with Covid? And how long does it take before a Covid infection severely compromises your health?

The idea that the COVID-sinners (whether unvaxxed, unmasked, people who won't stay home, etc.) endanger people by filling hospital beds has been a Covidian talking point since Spring, 2020.

(Here are a couple of examples, but there are a million like it: https://www.galvnews.com/opinion/editorials/free/article_218a58d6-9417-5731-ae60-c1010b819393.html

Precisely the same argument could be made against smokers and eaters of too much ice cream.

You say that like that's a bad thing.

At least we're not so stupid that we suck up to a known con man.

I think the similarities are there.
Yes, being fat, unhealthy, smoking and drinking is choice, it does lead to hospitalizations. So, ultimately, by making those choices, much like not getting vaccinated, you’re choosing to burden the system.

That being said, it could count for sports as well.

So, from the perspective that keeping the health services up and running, I don’t see much difference.

From the perspective of keeping others safe from your behaviour, you obviously make a strong point. By choosing to eat chips, you’re not actively endangering others. By choosing not to get vaccinated, you are.

That's a very small distinction.

The person whom you are "endangering" can protect himself in most cases.

If I'm afraid of the unvaxxed, I can triple-vax myself, wear an N-95 every time I sally forth from my house, make sure I socially distance, disinfect my hands twice an hour and avoid unnecessary large gatherings. If I do all of those things, I'm at vanishing small risk from the unvaxxed.

With respect to almost all other situations, we let people choose the degree of risk they want to take.

Yes, it was different with Smallpox and its 30% fatality rate. But with the vaccines and therapeutics available, at this point in history, COVID is not malignant enough to change the normal calculus.

" By choosing to eat chips, you’re not actively endangering others. By choosing not to get vaccinated, you are."

Stop lying. Getting the gene vaccine does not protect other people, just yourself. i HAVE DEBUNKED YOUR MYTH MANY TIMES AND YOU KNOW BETTER.
STOP SPREADING DISINFORMATION.
