@Mott-The-Hoople
You are seriously deluded.

Try reading the REAL history.

Why did the Taliban agree to protect the pipeline? That seems like a deal is being kept to me. They are our allies now. They just don't want to admit they made our former enemies our new terrorist allies.

Why did facebook and twitter let the Taliban communicate on their websites in their effort to take Kabul? Our government is helping the Taliban. It is obvious. We have a deal with them. Biden is keeping the trump deal with the Taliban.
Facebook banned Trump.
But didn't ban the Taliban.
Ouch !!!! That's got to sting !! 😲

Yep. It is clear that Biden worked with the trump deal with the Taliban and helped them take over the country.

We have a deal with the Taliban. Only a retard would deny the obvious.

Simple question. If Biden doesn't have a deal with the Taliban why did the Taliban pledge to protect the pipeline?

Like Shav you are in denial of reality. Why do you think the Taliban has warned the US to not miss the deadline?

https://thehill.com/policy/defense/551301-taliban-warns-of-attacks-on-us-troops-after-withdrawal-deadline-under-trump

Biden has a deal with the Taliban. There would be no deadline unless there is a deal. Not unless you want to argue the Taliban are ordering the US military out and Biden is running out of there like the biggest coward in the world.

You and shav are delusional. There is a deal. That is why the Taliban is warning Biden to keep his end of the deal.

It is like you and shav are waiting for you favorite propaganda networks to tell you both you are allowed to accept facts yet.

You might want to read the Hill article you cited; it was written on May 1st and refers to that date as the " withdrawal deadline that was negotiated under the Trump administration passed Saturday."

You seem to do this often; read a headline you think supports your conspiracy theories and then not bother to actually read the article which doesn't.

You are right, I didn't read it. The renegotiated deadline is at the end of this month.

My logic is still very sound. There is a deadline they warned Biden not to miss. You probably heard about it on the news, right?

It's a self-imposed deadline set by Biden. As the article you didn't read shows, the Taliban were upset that Biden didn't honor Trump's surrender agreement and leave on May 1st.

I see no evidence Biden negotiated the August 31st deadline with the Taliban, though naturally the latter want US troops out ASAP.

EDIT: The Taliban did not claim there was any agreement with Biden: "Taliban spokesperson Dr Suhail Shaheen said: "It's a red line. President Biden announced that on 31 August they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that."

He added: "If the US or UK were to seek additional time to continue evacuations - the answer is no. Or there would be consequences. It will create mistrust between us. If they are intent on continuing the occupation it will provoke a reaction."

Is the latter what you think? The Taliban agreed to protect the pipeline. Surely you are not dumb enough to deny there is a deal. All the signs are there. It is so obvious.

It's a waste of time talking to you when you get into your inevitable "hold your breath until you turn blue" mode.

Biden said he would remove troops by August 31st, keeping a campaign promise. If internet tough guys want to call him a "coward" for ending this stupid, futile war, so be it.

The pipeline that has been discussed for 30 years but never actually built and that the US has no financial interest in had absolutely zero to do with it. Afghanistan might very well financially benefit if the damn thing is ever built, so the Taliban as the government of that country might very well support it as prior Afghan governments have.

EDIT: Small sections of TAPI have been built. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkmenistan%E2%80%93Afghanistan%E2%80%93Pakistan%E2%80%93India_Pipeline

The Taliban had agreed to the pipeline in 1998.
