It's actual blackthorn wood like those. Some of the bark is peeling off. The knob is a little smaller and browner on mine; just right for holding in the palm or bopping off a stupid person's noggin. I paid fifty bucks for it. Looks roughly like this:

This seems remarkably similar to the Japanese tanbo, only no big knob on the end. I've been trained in dual tanbo (think Daredevil) techniques, and I wonder how these would stand up to that.

That would only get me into reloading my own ammo.

At the risk of echoing the right on this, it's not the gun or the ammo. It's the jackhole pulling the trigger.

It's longer than a tanbo. It's basically a cane. Three feet long.

Do you know how to chemically synthesize modern smokeless powder?
