@lipareeno saidIn the arcade scene John Connors buddy saves the entire human race by instinctively lying to the cops.

Great movie.
-Removed-No constitution here in NZ, wish I were a US citizen. No inclination to own a gun but I know that every human has the right of own the means to self defence, a right that is abused in many countries by the very organisation that should be protecting it.
To ban guns because criminals use them is to tell the law abiding that their rights and freedoms depend on the actions of criminals.
(Not sure whose quote that is)
@Wajoma
Why is no constitution bad? Seems like you could adjust laws according to the times that way. As it is here, the NRA lobby has caused the US to have more guns than people here literally, and they tout it as defense if we were ever attacked by say Russia wanting Alaska back, like it would really help if a hundred thousand Alaskans armed with shotguns would stop a well equiped real army.
It is fukking RIDICULOUS to have that many guns in one country and we pay for it every day. I just saw Matthew McConaughey talk at the whitehouse, it turns out his home is actually in Ulvade and he went to school there so he felt it more than most and gave one of the most powerful non-rehearsed speeches ever given at the WH.
There were dudes who said, why does it take a celebrety dude making a speech to have Americans realize how bad this gun issue is, teenagers killing hundreds of kids when all you need to do is raise the age limit to 21 to keep those bastards from buying AR15's the weapon of choice for teenage school shooters, from getting them till they are 21 at which point they would most likely not be in the same sick frame of mind they were at 14 or so. But NOT, repubs won't let that happen or any other legislation to that effect because they get WAY too much money from gun lobbiests. My guess is the coming vote will be 55 to 45 and it fails.
@sonhouse saidBuy a pair of testacles and a baseball bat if you don't like guns.
