More fake news, right?
Of course covid cases are dropping in nursing homes. The virus already killed most people in the nursing homes that were vulnerable. There are less people on the verge of death to take out. That isn't surprising.
Michigan has the worse case count despite Whitmer's strict lockdowns and mandatory face mask wearing. Is that proof masks do more harm than good or are you going to make excuses for that too?
You will just move the goalposts and say that Michigan is not Florida or some such rot. Right?

@metal-brain saidChildren have not been getting the vaccine you buffoon. The only purpose you serve is to flag up anyone idiotic enough to get sucked in by your BS and with covid and whatever else is coming down the track going forward the number of anti vaxxers will by means of natural selection be an ever diminishing figure.
LOL!
Read your own article.
Infections most common in children.
If children are getting infected more there will be less deaths because they have strong immune systems. Crediting vaccines is an assault to the scientific process. There is simply no evidence vaccines are mainly responsible for a lower death rate.
The WHO also changed the way they counted covid cases ...[text shortened]... /01/20/the-who-finally-updates-its-covid-19-testing-policy-1-hour-after-bidens-inauguration-n1398857
Anti vaxxers are definitely without a shadow of a doubt murdering fascists who will form the medium for new variants and should be treated as such by the wider societies in which they live.

@no1marauder saidCorrelation does not necessarily prove causation. There is no political will for additional lockdowns in Michigan. The first one obviously did not help since MI is now the epicenter of the pandemic as the news is saying.

Despite Whitmer's strict lockdowns MI is in a mess. Lockdowns don't help. That is evident.
@suzianne saidThe WHO confirmed after investigating that PCR tests were not being used in compliance with instructions provided by the manufacturers. Laboratories faced problems when they did not apply the recommended “positivity threshold”, which can result in false negative or false positive results.

@metal-brain saidFunny, you posted a study in the another thread showing Wuhan's extreme lockdown virtually ended the pandemic there in a few months.

@no1marauder saidThat has nothing to do with the subject. Not every single claim of articles I post is an endorsement of those claims. I post a lot of Jimmy Dore videos, but I don't agree with his AGW views. Get a life.

@no1marauder saidI suppose the DPRK executing people for not following lockdown rules is effective to some extent. I'll admit tyrannical lockdowns can be effective exceptions to the rule. None in the USA helped though. Same with the UK.

"The Imperial study analysed the impact of lockdowns and social distancing steps in 11 European countries and found they had “a substantial effect”, helping to lower the infection’s reproductive rate, or R value, below one by early May.
The R value measures the average number of people that one infected person will pass the disease on to. An R value above 1 can lead to exponential growth."
"The Imperial team estimated that by early May, between 12 and 15 million people in total in Austria, Belgium, Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland - around 4% of their combined population - had been infected with COVID-19.
By comparing the number of deaths counted with deaths predicted by their model if no lockdown measures had been introduced, they found some 3.1 million deaths were averted.
A second study by scientists in the United States, published alongside the Imperial-led one in the journal Nature, estimated that lockdowns in China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, France and the United States had prevented or delayed around 530 million COVID-19 cases."

Nope. You have faith in epidemiological studies that are bunk. You are embracing pseudoscience because that is the only confirmation bias available to you. Controlled randomized trials are the gold standard and you are ignoring them in favor of known bunk.
@metal-brain saidSo Epidemiology is "bunk, pseudoscience" according to you, or more likely, the crank websites you derive your views from.
