No homework needed. They came here illegally, man. You avoid a straight answer as usual. The subject Venezuelans are part of 486,000 illegal aliens. These new laws y’all keep coming up with, quite selective when one considers the pitiful innocent wretches from Haiti, et al, do not negate their history of breaking our laws of entry. America is not a charity. America is no ...[text shortened]... tates, accounting for 4 percent of all 13.7 million unauthorized immigrants.Feb 6, 2025
Please.
@spruce112358 saidKill the Boer ... Shoot to kill. Remember ?
BTW, you were fine letting in Afrikaaners. I'm not even sure their problems were that serious, comparatively. 😆
Trump should take all 5 million of them, [and cut out refugees from Islamic countries to balance it],
@AverageJoe1 saidAfter reading your link it seems like all this decision does is add more chaos to the system. The status of these migrants will shift from legal to illegal meaning they can be deported. But there's no deportations order either. None of them will be able to go to work until their individual cases are heard by a judge. This will take years longer than simply modifying the qualifications within the TPS program.

Honestly, I do not understand why they are here and why we keep them here. Why are they not in their own country. I am in my own country. Why don’t you fellas try to explain the basic sound reasoning to actually let them just live here. Why is it bad to send them back to their own country. I do not get it.
It's just another example of the incompetence of Trump's administration.
@wildgrass saidThe word authorization is used interchangeably with the word illegal. And I really did get a kick out of the word undocumented, which I don’t see being used very much anymore for some reason
TPS is authorization. What are you talking about?
@wildgrass saidWell yes it won’t be easy to do what simply must be done. Invaders. Go home.

I will always be amazed how you tipsy turbo people can write so much about what I say in this sentence. It only took me two sentences.
Frankly, you have to feel quite silly riding so much about what needs to be done and how it has to be done.
Could it be possible that you do not think it should be done. There are a lot of people in North Africa that probably deserve the same treatment that we have been giving to Venezuela. Have you visited Chad or Nigeria lately? Are you saying to hell with them?
@AverageJoe1 saidIt's like if you needed a car repair but instead of taking it to a skilled mechanic you ripped the whole car apart in your garage and then blamed the libs for not fixing it sooner.

@spruce112358 saidIf you were watching up a barrel of a gun you wont be saying that. You have to be the most twisted and selfish POS on this forum. In the last 10 years about 4000 white farmers were murdered by blacks in South Africa. They are not talking at all, and they need to be put down.
Talk is cheap. 😆

@YEAH-BOY saidPayback for what? South Africa under apartheid was far more prosperous both for blacks and whites, in case you dont know. Under the ANC, there are far more people living under the poverty lline than under the White South African government. Many commentators in retrospect believe that South Africa is far worse now than under apartheid. Do some reading.
Pay back is a bitch.
@wildgrass saidNot the best analogy, but I apprecite your trying.
It's like if you needed a car repair but instead of taking it to a skilled mechanic you ripped the whole car apart in your garage and then blamed the libs for not fixing it sooner.
It begins with a car (country) in need of repair, we are with you on that.
But note you get off-track to say 'you ripped it apart". Who ripped it? Please clarify that part of the analogy, and I would love to discuss it. You then mention having it done 'soon. i don't see that being very germane, as it is being done as fast as Trump can do it, do you think DOGE is just a flippant activity?
Anyway, please make sense by saying who ripped it, and then we can go from there. If someone besides the horrible Trump did it, who was it? We all stipulate that Trump has been in office just 120 days.
Apologies for referring to Trump 3 times, I don't think that that is the way to approach this issue. This country is made up of a LOT of car parts, and the workings thereof.
@YEAH-BOY saidThere are virtually hundreds of these comments from people in South Africa who lived under both White and Black governments and their comments are pretty much the same. Here is one example from Quora :
Pay back is a bitch.
Q : Did black South Africans live better lives under apartheid?
Wow, what a load of crap answers here of people that don’t lived in South Africa (SA). I have lived under both regimes for nearly 60 years, and my parent and great parent before me. Yes blacks were treated different in apartheid. And for those that think apartheid means apart hate, you are wrong, it means living separate. each in its own suburb or township.
Take 1960, 70, 80. We live in our own township. A small house, nice garden, good education for our children and the economy was booming. Everyone had a house and a job. The job didn’t pay well, but enough to make a living. Not allowed to vote or to have a say in running the country. But apartheid did one good thing by creating homelands like Bophutatswanna, Ciskei, Transkei, Venda etc. Here was our own country. SA put a lot of money in the homelands, The idea is to developed the homelands and to get independence from SA. Here we should have lived under our own laws and rules and can vote. The problem is the black leaders. In tradition from mankind to late 1800 all land and everything belong to the tribal king including cattle and land. When the homelands was developed the so called Kings and elected officials still act that way. Any money was deposit into their private accounts, they annex all land claimed it for themselves and bankrupt their own people. No money = no development and no growth.
Then in 1994 the blacks took over the country, not by force, not by intellect, not by good deeds, but by empty promises of wealth to the brainwashed masses. Today 25 year the country is bankrupt. Everything that was good and uplifting and ensure a safe and reasonable wealthy living (food for every day) etc was destroyed. The appointed kings again took their culture and see all the state money as their own. The only way now to get it now is to give fraudulent and over inflated contracts to family members. Take the Arms Deal, Eskom, State Capture and Covid Pandemic. Register a business today with no track record, no personnel, no material and get a multi million state contract the next morning, get paid upfront millions to contractors that without delivering one cent of work or material. Buy overinflated prices land and business and give to the people to run with no education, no business experience etc like Estina and Zebedelia farm. The most profitable farm in apartheid, run to the ground by our own people due to greed, corruption and stupidity.
Millions of people entering the land, with no place to live take the available jobs of my people, landgrab any open space etc. Every institution, business, amenities and transport network is stolen piece by piece, rand by rand and run into the ground. This is only the tip of the iceberg of horror stories.
And yes in apartheid a few black were killed by whites (but that was a tiny % of the white population, but today the whites get murdered as if it’s an Olympic event. Apartheid whites care more for us than our own government.
So yes Blacks live better under apartheid over and above the few hick ups. If you can reset the clock more than 80 % that lived under apartheid will vote yes to reset the clock. Don’t comment on questions stories you have heard or is urban legend if you haven’t lived under apartheid South Africa.

Here is another :
Direct answer to the question is ... YES IT WAS…no if’s or buts..
I grew up during those years, and if I look back at how life was then(that is the question here..right?) then life was better than what it is now. Restricted from certain things or not…as a non-white person I did quite well for myself, and so did my siblings. If I had to focus on the injustice and segregations that were placed upon us, I would not have been where I am today.
I love the fact that we are calling ourselve’s the Rainhow Nation and that we have voting rights, but all the good that Nelson Mandela started and faught for and was imprisoned for, has been killed by the current powers that be. The current government is a disgrace to the Nelson Mandela legacy. South Africa is becoming another Zimbabwe. As the previous writer said “They can take a few tips from the Apartheid government. If theres one thing they did right, it was RUNNING THE COUNTRY SUCCESSFULLY. You wont read about it, because that information is hidden from the public eye. But even through INTERNATIONAL SANCTIONS, the South African economy has flourished back then. We were rich in minerals and that gave the country an edge. Foreign countries kept knocking on our door for our gold, diamonds and other commodoties. It is sad to see what is left of that today.
The country currently has a water crisis.
An energy crisis.
Employees in the Receiver of Revenue under investigation.
Top government officials in court for state capturing and corruption as high up as the previous president Mr Zuma.
Safety and Security services are brought to their knees, and they now rely on the communities and the general public to be whistle blowers. We have more neighbourhood watch groups visible than police visibility.
Emercency services vehicles are limited. If you call for Emergency assistance, help arrives hours later, sometimes the next day.
Except for a few good ones, the police are in cohoots with the drug lords.
There are more firearms (weapons) on the street and in the hands of criminals than what the police can handle.
I personally witnessed gang rivalry in the area where I work, and the police are afraid to go in and defuse the situation. After the shooting and killing is done, then the police will go in and collect bullet casings, dead bodies and other evidence.
It is pathetic. If this had to happen in the days of the Apartheid government, they would have called in the Army and Navy to assist the police. Today our Army and Navy officers are laying around in the base camps polishing their boots and eating 3 meals a day every day. There are no war at our borders, so why are they not deployed to assist the police? Instead they become fat and obese and then go on early retirement due to health problems.
Close down the police service and bring back the police FORCE that we once had.
Now you can judge me for what I am writing here, but the truth be told. The country is in shambles.
@AverageJoe1 saidIt's an outstanding analogy. TPS was never perfect as a system. It was developed as a necessary solution to a problem. A poorly working system i's not a reason why to break it, pretend the problem has been solved.

Trump's administration broke it by declaring that all the TPS immigrants are now illegal aliens. They are employees with jobs and families and kids who now have no job and nowhere to go. They need to start their requests for legal status all over again, clogging the US courts which is exactly what TPS was designed to avoid.
The problem still exists. They just removed the solution and put nothing there to replace it.
@wildgrass saidHelp!! You just jump off the substance of your 'analogy'. Whatever. Biden created the broke car. Whew.

Muy foirst thought is that we need to get back to basics. You have heard that phrase before? We have a mess. These folks have been on shaky grounds since they broke in, and let us say that Biden's big plan has just note worked out.
But here you say that Trump needs to fix it by spending more money?!?! You say that quite easily, because, that is all you liberals know. To get our economy right, their presence here has simply risen to a point which puts them on the chopping block. Looks like ole Biden put them on the spot, promises made, promises that cannot be kept. Can't afford it. It is unfortunate for these people who made a choice of invading our country.
Our economy is getting stronger. If we pick at it like you want us to do, we will just stay stagnant.
We can't cover every little thing, man. This is one of them. You might have suggested last year to use the 'tuition payment' money for matters such as this. You want to do both?!?!? What else?? is this Venezuelan week???
