There are virtually hundreds of these comments from people in South Africa who lived under both White and Black governments and their comments are pretty much the same. Here is one example from Quora :

Q : Did black South Africans live better lives under apartheid?

Wow, what a load of crap answers here of people that don’t lived in South Africa (SA). I ha ...[text shortened]... rd or is urban legend if you haven’t lived under apartheid South Africa.

Nothing of substance I see .. just personal insults.
I understand your dilemma.

Help!! You just jump off the substance of your 'analogy'. Whatever. Biden created the broke car. Whew.

Muy foirst thought is that we need to get back to basics. You have heard that phrase before? We have a mess. These folks have been on shaky grounds since they broke in, and let us say that Biden's big plan has just note worked out.
But here you say that Tr ...[text shortened]... for matters such as this. You want to do both?!?!? What else?? is this Venezuelan week???
🤔
The analogy of the car repair has nothing to do with who broke it.

OK. Let us set that aside. Another point you were making was if it could be done soon. I said it has rocked pretty fast for his 4 months in office. The Bill will pass, so things are indeed fast, so did not get your discontent with the time element.
I have residence in a tax-free state. If they push SALT to $30k, it wilkl be just great for NYC and the highly taxed liberal state, congratulations. I will get zero out of that part of the Bill. If you reside in a tax state, you will be getting money from me. Congratulations. The Bill will help you, and the ever-present Sonhouse. I am a big boy and am iintrested in the rest of the Bill.
So DOGE and the Bill will be the work of Trump, and the economy will jump iin many areas.
I REALLY don't know what you guys are upset about. Trump works 24/7. Did you hear about his huge successes last week? IF Biden were doing all this, would it then be OK? Of course it would.
If I sound a bit off subject, I thought to just write something, since you give me no issue to write about.
Very weird to my side, I gotta tell you.

It's an outstanding analogy. TPS was never perfect as a system. It was developed as a necessary solution to a problem. A poorly working system i's not a reason why to break it, pretend the problem has been solved.

Trump's administration broke it by declaring that all the TPS immigrants are now illegal aliens. They are employees with jobs and families and kids who now hav ...[text shortened]... id.

The problem still exists. They just removed the solution and put nothing there to replace it.
Actually, the situation is unclear. While the TPS for this group of Venezuelans will be rescinded during the litigation (which continues in the lower courts; Noem's cancellation might still be eventually overturned), the SCOTUS order specifically provides that

"This order is without prejudice to any challenge to
Secretary Noem's February 3, 2025 vacatur notice insofar as it
purports to invalidate EADs, Forms I-797, Notices of Action, and
Forms I-94 issued with October 2, 2026 expiration dates. See
8 U. S. C. §1254a(d)(3)."

https://www.supremecourt.gov/orders/courtorders/051925zr1_5h26.pdf

EADS are "Employment Authorization Documents" or work permits and as long as you have one, you can't be deported. So the administration might try to cancel these en masse for this group, but the affected workers will be able to bring legal challenges to such an action. Additionally, a large number of this group have outstanding asylum applications which must be litigated before they can be removed legally. https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/most-venezuelans-not-at-immediate-risk-despite-tps-decision-immigration-attorney-says/

So while most of the media articles have suggested there will be mass imminent deportations because of the SCOTUS order, the legal reality makes this doubtful.

If you were watching up a barrel of a gun you wont be saying that. You have to be the most twisted and selfish POS on this forum. In the last 10 years about 4000 white farmers were murdered by blacks in South Africa. They are not talking at all, and they need to be put down.
Fact check! 😆

https://factcheck.afp.com/doc.afp.com.36ZD7HY

“A viral French post claimed that 60 white farmers are killed every day in South Africa, while English posts said 4,000 have been murdered since 2018. Farm attacks are a reality in crime-plagued South Africa but the figures in the claims have been exaggerated. Experts say about 50 farmers of all racial groups are killed annually in a country that recorded more than 19,000 murders between January and September 2024.

South Africa under apartheid was far more prosperous both for blacks and whites, in case you dont know. Under the ANC, there are far more people living under the poverty lline than under the White South African government. Many commentators in retrospect believe that South Africa is far worse now than under apartheid. Do some reading.
“Democracy is advanced citizenship.” 😆

Sure, maybe some oppressive or dictatorial regimes are prosperous - for some. Maybe they appear outwardly “orderly.” That’s not a reason to keep them. Freedom is first.

When people have been oppressed for a long time, they don’t know how to be free. They don’t know how to democracy, and it may take them a long time to learn. Iraq is learning. India is learning. South Korea learned quite fast. Japan learned.

Still have to learn though. That’s the only future. Not being stuck under someone’s thumb. 😆

What a load of BS. Apparently many South Africans do not share your view on democracy.

I'm failing to see the distinctions between what I wrote and what you wrote.

What I wrote is that removing TPS for thia group of Venezuelans creates chaos for the courts.

At some point y'all should do some self reflection.

These Venezuelans were here legally. They did everything right and were granted the opportunity to live and work here temporarily. If y'all are cheering on a decision to yank the rug out from under them with the intention of deporting them, then maybe its not the law you're worried about.

You just don't like immigrants.

Wow. Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, really schooled the American Pretender (aka. Rumpy-Pumpy) on the meaning of democracy.

"Trump directed staff to play a video, which included footage of Julius Malema, the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters party, in which Malema repeatedly exhorts followers at a rally to “kill the farmer” and “kill the Boer.”

"After the video was finished, Ramaphosa told Trump that Malema, while a member of his country’s parliament, doesn’t wield any authority and isn’t part of the government.

“We have a multi party democracy in South Africa that allows people to express themselves, political parties to adhere to various policies. And in many cases, or in some cases, those policies do not go along with government policy. Our government policy is completely, completely against what he was saying, even in the Parliament, and they're a small minority party which is allowed to exist in terms of our Constitution,” he said.

"Continuing, the South African leader admitted that there is “criminality” in his country that has seen many people, both Black and white, killed as a result.

"When Trump pressed Ramaphosa about the controversial land expropriation law, he replied that South Africa’s constitution “guarantees and protects the sanctity of tenure of land ownership” for “all South Africans,” while comparing the authority Trump cited to the American government’s power of eminent domain, which allows the confiscation of land for public use."
===
It is pretty embarrassing as an American to be represented by an addled fuuk stick, who is Pretending to be important, but actually doesn't know his a$$ from his elbow. 😆

Mandela, Mbeki, and Ramaphosa are/were sophisticated, intelligent leaders (not Jacob Zuma; he was throwback African strongman) but Trump is nowhere near as qualified as these blacks to lead. Not even close. He's a joke. 😆

Your head is really screwed on wrong.

- THE PEOPLE of South Africa, are suffering and fed up with the $$hit.

Tell me you got that.

This has nothing to do with Trump or Ramphosa or any other leader.
