If there is some major bottom out then there is a chance that a free society might be born of it. But the way democracy works is that if enough people start voting Libertarian, the two major parties whose only concern is being in power, need to start adjusting their position towards more freedom in order to claw back some votes.
But sheep baa baas like suzi, have so little imagination they can't see beyond the dimocrats or republicans.
We wont see a Libertarian goobermint but we could force the power trippers to ease up on the reins a little. But it has to be done based on a principle. NZ had an almost Libertarian party once called ACT if you read their charter, unfortunately they didn't have the principle, it was too vague, and they just turned into one of them, power tripping lying scum.
