There are several HUNDRED trying to do just that.
I have said all along only WOMEN can stop this treasonous rise of ultrarightwingnut zombies because they are hopefully really fired up over the Roe V Wade ruling by the right wing political arm of the republican party in SCOTUS.
They are not making law based decisions but 100% political HACKING of our legal system.
SCOTUS dudes are now talking seriously about hoping they get cases where they can rationalize making a decision outlawing gay marriage or making gay SEX illegal again or completing the control of the lives of women.
But repub zombies want people to believe inflation and the border is the ONLY thing on the voting menu.
Notice how the pro life asssholes have backtracked on their desire to force women to have abortions with ZERO exceptions INCLUDING the life of the mother, she dies if she has a baby. NO MATTER, the BITCH SHOULD HAVE KEPT HER LEGS CLOSED SO IT SERVES HER RIGHT.
Now they refuse to actually say they are pro life, instead moving the goalpost to start yapping about the border or crime, the typical repub response to real issues like abortion and the FACT they WANT women to be in permanent second class status JUST LIKE IRAN or SAUDI ARABIA.
So I am just hoping Women are fired up enough to save our democracy as well as keeping abortion rights in the US.

- there are women opposed to abortion at any stage.
- there are women opposed to abortion beyond a certain point.
- there are women opposed to abortion unless certain conditions are met
- there are women opposed to paying for abortions through the state, they believe (rightly or wrongly) that you are making them complicit in murder
- you do realise there were women taking part in the great meandering on the 6th, one of your buddies shot one to DEATH
There are also women who are responsible and use protection to prevent pregnancy.
Most abortions are created by negligence.
So with that being said, the majority of women voters are smart enough to not get pregnant unless they want to, barring exceptions like rape and incest of course. So it's not this big issue for most female voters. Crime and the Economy is.

Look, we've been over this. The SCOTUS explained as best they could, the Feds have nothing to do with abortion...it is a state matter. It is in the Constitution. Ask Marauder.
So, you pepper your screed as if they ruled incorrectly.
Posts such as this about Roe, as much as it upsets you, are really wasted on the Forum. Sounds cruel, but it is likewise cruel that we have to wade through it, when your tomes are totally unbased..

Unless the generic polls are well off though, a Republican pick up of 15-20 seats at least in the House seems inevitable.
Specifically, I'd say only two Senate seats change parties; Fetterman holds on in Pennsylvania for a Democratic gain, but Laxalt unseats Cortez Masto in Nevada for a Republican one. Warnock and Walker go to a runoff in Georgia (which requires more than 50% for a candidate to win) and Warnock wins again like he and Ossoff did in Georgia in December 2020.
They'll be a number of other close races and maybe the Dems can knock off Johnson in Wisconsin or maybe Hassan loses in New Hampshire, but the above is my best guess.

There is nothing in the Constitution that says Fundamental Rights like bodily sovereignity are "State matters" and the Ninth and Fourteenth Amendments clearly suggest and state the contrary.
